Lets See Your Hiking Photos!!

In my opinion, taking pictures of yourself in the gym while working out is silly, (I see this on facebook all the time) but that's just me. The only way I can justify taking pictures of my workout is if my hard work has picked me up and put me somewhere breathtaking. I suppose this could be posted in the 'Motivation' thread also, because the promise of beautiful views and isolated nature is a huge motivator for me to work my butt off to get to the top :) These are my pics from our hike yesterday up Mt. Walker in Quilcene, Washington (hopefully they show up and are resized ok). Enjoy! Anyway, lets see yours!

So many great photos!! I'm digging the serene-nature vibes coming from all of them :)

Montarosa: here's a link to how to post photos, it took me a few tries to figure it out as well :)

Beautiful pictures! Where were they all taken? This reminds me that I need to start carrying my camera on my hikes. I'm fortunate enough to live in the Rocky Mountains and hike nearly every weekend. I even started my morning off today with a short sunrise hike to the top of our town's namesake "Castle Rock." I wish I had had my camera for the sunrise over the town this morning!

Hmmm, those all posted huge. I should resize them, but I'm probably not going to. You can right click to view the whole pic, at least in firefox. I have a ton more. Most of them are in state parks in Indiana. Some are in Minnesota, and some are in Tennessee.

Oyster Dome, Bellingham, WA. 2,000 feet up; you can see Puget Sound, the San Juan Islands, and the Olympic Mountains.

Edit - just to say, yes I'm wearing the same outfit in 3 of the pictures - I don't have a lot of hiking clothes! They're expensive..!

You all are so awesome!! Looking at all of these amazing photos is really making getting my homework done difficult, lol :) But very motivating to hike even more! I need to start looking into some higher elevation hikes!
