Regardless of what works or doesn't work I would still wait as long as I could before the tests. 6 weeks or more. Sure people have done this and that and it worked... But they have also failed. If you are serious enough about your career choices to go to grad school, I wouldn't risk it.

Avocado, Cheese, sausage, broccoli. Any combination of them

Are you getting a good balanced supply of fats?

I'd like to see those rats choose the Oreos over the cocaine:laugh:

Awesome!

Looks like a good start. Don't be afraid to eat a lot to get you through the first few days, focusing on keeping that fat up. I would keep and eye on the diet soda as some people stall or have increased cravings with artificial sweeteners but if you are having one a day I wouldn't be too worried- I know I have mine when I…

Good luck! I'll send one in

String cheese, almonds, cream cheese, peanut butter, PEPPERONI (my personal favorite), dark chocolate (I'm talking the 85-90% dark, pretty bitter but you get used to it), celery. I wouldn't opt for the low fat versions of cheese/cream cheese unless you are having trouble staying under your calorie goal- it's important to…

Thanks, great results yourself!

Get back on the wagon and move forward, don't let that slip up become a trend or habit. Good luck!

Welcome back, good luck!

What I like to do with tuna or chicken to get my protein while still keeping the fat up is to cook them on the stove in olive or coconut oil. Cheese and nuts in moderation too will help. The best of luck to you!

And not to take away from what the others have said but keto diets for weight loss are not "high fat high protein diets". It is a high fat, moderate protein diet. Consuming too much protein compared to fat can screw with ketosis. Take research and advice with a grain of salt. Research can be found to prove and disprove…

How "lacking" is your protein? If you vary your food sources you shouldn't have any problem getting adequate protein. Being in keto, you won't normally feel hungry in the same way you used to because of the lack of cravings caused by excessive carb consumption. I've been in keto for 5 weeks and I feel like a million bucks.

Great progress! Keep up the hard work

I worked at a bar, played rugby and attended WVU so I've had some practice with losing weight while drinking haha. First I would say make sure you stay hydrated- especially on nights where you will be drinking. This helps curb/prevent the hangovers. A hangover is probably the worst enemy as you will crave bad food and not…

Ha I know what you mean... The low carb board seems to have more "productive" discussions

We have all dwindled away because carbs are necessary to survive! Active low carber here (keto) going on 3.5 weeks

I said no to the Oreos that were left out by my girlfriend haha

Haha, I think I will have to hold on to this list. Automobile tire, here I come.

Yeah I know what you mean, you can usually figure out some healthier options for when you do go out. I don't crave the sweets anymore, but late nights on the weekends those are the toughest lol.

Take it one day at a time and stick with it. Good luck!

Thanks, great post. I have generally stayed away from deadlifts and spent most of my time with squats, but I am looking forward to working these one armed ones in.

Well put. Lol

Good luck! Take it one day at a time
