I restarted on this Monday. I'm trying to do as many double workout days as possible until I begin my marathon training.

it seriously all varies. your height, body frame size, and where you carry your weight all depends. when i was younger and 175 i was a size 14. then i gained and lost a bunch of weight and was that weight again, only this time i did it right and exercised and ate right, and i was a size 10-12. there is no predicting sizes…

First off, if you haven't seen a doctor yet, you should do so ASAP. Also when I lost a lot of my hair from losing too much weight too fast, the hair loss didn't stop until I started gaining a little bit of weight back, so I am assuming the same process will go for you as well. You don't have to gain ALL your weight back,…

love love love them. i can and sometimes do eat them for all 3 main meals of the day lol
-
i saw my biggest & most consistent losses eating a total of 1750-2150 cals a day (i was eating part of my exercise cals back most of the time).

\ Jillian Michaels Body Revolution was definitely the best program i've ever done and was REALLY easy to stick to considering you're working out 6 days a week for 3 months straight. its so effective that i'm redoing it to help me lose the bulk of this weight because it works that well.

definitely modify the rest of phase 3 but get checked out by a doc ASAP. i had sharp knee pain which ended up being runners knee and now i do things to help prevent it and i'm prone to early arthritis which i also do stuff to prevent (like take glucosamine which has been a lifesaver). so definitely might wanna get that…

nope. i had some really cute clothes and high end stuff that i couldnt part ways with even though i hadnt worn them in MONTHS and i asked a couple friends who were my size if they wanted to take a peek because i couldnt bear giving away my good stuff to bad homes. lol i unloaded a couple pairs of pants/jeans & one of my…

i did the same. when i first got JMBR i looked at the last few workouts and cardio 3 and nearly crapped my pants, but cardio 3 and phase 3 became my FAVORITE parts when i finally got to it. you'll get there.

when youre sick pretty much anything goes, go with what feels right for you and work on feeling better. my rule is when you're sick or hungover do what makes you feel best LOL
-
wow great job!! i wish i looked that good in the 190s lol
-
i eat pretty late because of work, i usually dont have my first meal til like 11am and dinner comes around 10pm. as long as youre under for the day, it truly doesnt matter what time you eat.
-
43!?!?! thats freakin awesome girl!!
-
depends on a lot of things, but the most important thing to remember is that unless you've been grossly over eating you havent gained actual weight. its water weight. is this your first fitness routine in a while? have you ever done anything like this before? eating a lot of sodium? drinking enough water? what were your…

it is totally normal. lots of things influence your weight. water retention. sodium. poop. periods. all of it. as long as its not a slow progression to a higher weight over time i wouldnt worry. try only weighing in once a week on the same day/time. or twice a week if you still cant part from the scale lol
-
i'm on round 2 of JMBR too and since my schedule is screwy and i cant really follow the program like id like to i'm doing cardio at the gym (elliptical/cycling/w/e) mondays and wednesdays and the workouts tuesday, thursday, friday, saturday.
-
yeah i definitely want to try the no salt added one. i'm not a huge red meat eater and i have a weird thing with eating chicken lol. i cant live on salmon and tuna lol
-
use heavier weights. maybe alternate one or two days a week with a cardio session.
-
my first round i was able to cut out drinking with the exception for only special occasions or like id have ONE drink ONCE a week. i had to pretty much cut out wine and beer because of calories and the fact that once you open a bottle of wine you only have so long to drink it lol. alcohol changes the way your body…

last night went out and had a couple cocktails with a friend for her bday then we got drunk burritos at like 2am, totalling about 1400 cals total. logged it this morning, felt like total crap about it for all of 3 seconds, and then promptly pre logged my day for today to help keep me on track. today is a new day. :)

weight loss is kind of like having a baby. everyones happy for you but also secretly jealous, and they get kind of annoyed of seeing you post ONLY baby pix...lol so when all you talk about is health/nutrition/etc people stop listening and start to roll their eyes lol. trust me, iv'e been there, seen it happen. the trick is…

this was me, it took losing almost 40lbs to finally move down a size, and when i did i realized i had been stuffing my fat *kitten* into too small jeans the whole time so really i had moved down 2 legit sizes. give it time. youre probably your real size now and everyone loses differently and in different spots. for me…
-
yup! i feel like at some point all of us come to this and then we come here lol congrats on realizing this before its too far gone!
-
i do the same as you. i have a plan, if i have to make any adjustments i do. i like it much better than going in blind and not planning out my meals. more often than not i'll short myself on dinner cals unless i plan ahead.
-
first off congrats on coming back and continuing what you started!! as for tips, id say even starting small helps. one thing that helped me was stopping the use of the word "diet" in a traditional sense. it really is a lifestyle change and it HAS TO BE if you want to keep the weight off long term. starting now your life is…
-
thats awesome! congrats!!
-
to look like my normal self again.
-
FRUIT. specifically the high fiber stuff because it usually means less sugar and cals. raspberries, strawberries, and apricots are my go-to. once youre used to not eating so much crap fruit becomes SUPER SWEET to the senses.
-
on top of all the other issues listed, the main one you should be weary of is unless you plan on eating 700 for the rest of YOUR LIFE, you will regain all that weight you lost once you stop. keep that in mind when considering an extreme low cal diet.
-
try egg whites instead, higher protein, lower cals, plus you can eat more of them without being as stuffed as you would with normal eggs haha, other than making sure to pack in the protein with a bar, powder, yogurt and dairy daily i dont know what else.
