Can I suggest Bed Bath & Beyond? or WalMart? any digital scale will work but I'd look for one with lighted display and the ability to zero out the scale, i.e. you can place a dish on the scale, zero it out, then add food and the weight displayed is from your food, not your dish. My scale is from OXO.com, found in Bed Bath…

Good luck with your outing tomorrow! It is hard finding things to eat when on a low-sodium restriction. Would definitely drink water with the meal, and continue to hydrate afterwards to flush the system.

Count me in! Need to loose 60 lbs, at my heaviest now (221) and I'll need a lot of motivation!

Thank you SoupandCookie! I went back and looked at the box again - 130 is "as packaged" so the "as prepared" is actually 310. Oops! That'll teach me to look closer at what I'm reading! LOL Love your User Name, by the way!

Can't remember if I updated on this challenge this morning but if not..... Day 3 completed on the 30 Day Squat Challenge! I thought my legs would be so sore I could hardly move but that's not the case. I found it easier to climb stairs today and that is very motivating for me! Of course I'm still out of breath after 2…

Thanks to everyone for responding! You've given me plenty to think about. I'm going to try the Almond milk for 35 calories a cup and see how it goes. Thanks again!

If I have a really bad night and find my day starting at 2 or 3 AM, I just wright the day off b/c I KNOW I'm going to eat whatever sounds good. I think it's b/c I'm feeling so terrible…

Wow, I am so glad you posted this today! I got up this morning, weighed, then came and readjusted my goals. I only gained .6 lbs. from Thanksgiving week. Back home now and time to get back on the wagon. I too feel that I need a little wiggle room. My best days for not eating much are on the weekends - I'm a stress eater at…

I'm also curious about this. Peanut butter is the best, but if we're not careful the calories add up quickly! I tend to heap my teaspons also. I love just licking the peanut butter off the spoon - so much flavor there! Yum! I would like to hear from others how they measure their peanut butter. Thanks! cddroid

I'm right there with you, Sister! I've helped DH track calories for the last few months and he's already down 27 lbs.! Now it's my turn. I figure tomorrow's a new month - that gives me 3 months before the new year - time for me to start dropping some weight as well. Thanks for posting. Happy to know I'm not the only one…
