  • You could be low in salt. Try an electrolite drink while you are working out , E-LOAD is a good one.
  • It was caffiene free diet coke. I will try the orange juice and see if that helps!
  • So, I have been reading posts by different people about Diet pop and it causing sugar cravings. I am a 2-3 can a day drinker. 3 days ago we ran out of pop and I decided not to go buy anymore to see if it was true. Low and behold NO SUGAR CRAVINGS:noway: Anyway, now my problem is I am having the shakes in the afternoon when…
  • I'm in stage four. Gave up on the site for about a week, gained a few pounds(5:blushing: ) but now I am back at it. Glad to see that it is just part of the "battle"!
  • A good way to kick it up on a stationary bike and get a good work out is this(my trainer makes me do this!): start at level 3 or 4 for every min. for the next five kick it up to the next level at the end of five mins drop back down to the origianl starting level continue that until you have done the time you want.…
  • Thanks everyone!
  • Yes, it's true, I have been gone for a week. Feeling sorry for myself because of an injury I recieved at work I have taken this "opportunity" to eat anything I want and have gained about 5lbs. I am tired of feeling sorry for myself and today is the day I get back on the "program". I just thought I would tell people so I…
  • At the Starbucks by my place they have a BIG book with the nutritional values of every single thing that they sell!
  • This is my dog Stealth. He is an Australian Kelpie and he chose me when I was hearding sheep up in Alaska. He was about 8 wks old and had been on the block with me for a couple of weeks when he just jumped in my bed one day and decided that my head was a good pillow! It's been love ever since:laugh: Now that we are in the…

  • If you have a RunningRoom in your area you could join one of their clinics. Twice a week you run with your group and once a week there are different topics that you learn about to help you achieve your goal. When I wanted to complete my first half marathon I joined a clinic and found it very helpful, especially on those…
  • My hobby is Racewalking which I was able to turn into my pt job this Jan!
  • Thanks:happy:
  • I agree... It definetly doesn't count! Sorry about your car:flowerforyou:
  • I just saw this post today(Sunday) and I'm in!!!! What's a reverse crunch? And can I start with girly push-up?
  • I am set up for a pound a week weight loss. I figure that way if I have a bad day and go over my calories a LITTLE bit then it won't really affect my overall goal:smile:
  • I have always been an all or nothing thinker as well. This time I have decided to give myself one day off a week and it seems to be working. When I feel like over eating I just try to remind myself that I can wait until Sunday(my "off" day) and that is when I can eat the meal I want or the dessert that I want. It seems to…
  • After having wasted money on 5 different pedometers I finally settled on a Garmin 201. It has a GPS system built in. It retails for close to $200:noway: but after useing it for almost a year, I would never use anything else!
  • The RunningRoom has a 30 day money back guarantee on their shoes if you wear them inside(treadmill). You should also replace your shoes every 600km. Proper socks make a HUGE difference and there is also a product called "body glide" that you can purchase to stop blisters. I personally slather my feet in vaseline. gross, I…
  • I have learned that taking one day "off" a week helps me stay on track the rest of the week. I have learned that having a friend that I can call when I can't stop eating helps me put the food down. I have learned that there is no reason why I should do this alone:smile:
  • 15lbs. I officially broke 200lbs today:happy:
  • HI! Just wondering if anyone can tell me how to change your calorie settings while you're losing weight or if the site does it for you.
  • I was diagnosed about 5 years ago. I lost weight following a diabetic diet and Weight Watchers. It comes off a little slower but you are still able to lose weight. I have found that I really need to watch my sugar intake and if I do eat it, I gain! Good Luck! You can do it!
  • Just wondering if anyone knows if your calories decrease automatically as you lose weight or if you manually have to do something to re-calculate them. Thanks:smile:
