I agree. I use fitbit to log all exercise except swimming and cycling. I use MFP to log all my food plus swimming cycling and other activities that can't be measured with Fitbit. Then once both apps sync they both update with correct information. Hope this helps.

Oh I see! I'm just worried about using up all my calories I'm allowed including my earned fitbit ones. I tend to use up all my 'normal ones' but not my extra fitbit ones so think I should start using them

Ideal thanks, 1 last thing lol if it shows up that your burning some calories is that just because you are still burning some by moving breathing ect?

OK thankyou. :) so wen my fitbit correct calories shows up on MFP as well as any walks I do ect this isn't doubling my calorie allowed for that day as it's separate?

OK so as I need to loose 19 lb I need to set my weekly weight loss goal to 0.5 lb ? Then as my fitbit sends it's adjustment calories I've burnt to MFP, I can eat into them and still loose weight? Is that correct? Thankyou

OK so firstly thankyou all for the advice, much appreciated. This is new to me so alot to take in. I used to use a Samsung gear and Samsung health app along with a weigh watchers app which is very different. So basically, I think I will track my food and keep within my calorie goal using mfp, then just use fitbit to track…

Thankyou all for your good points and help. I just thought I'd check as I've recently not renewed my weight watchers as this app is free and recognises all food by the barcode so want to see how I get on with this. The reason I ask is because on weight watchers all fruit and veg was not pointed so thanks for clearing that…
