I broke my right patella into 3 pieces last March. 2 months in a cast, 2 months using a cane and 2 months of Physio had me functional. I can ride a bike like a mad man but cannot run yet. I get pain 2 minutes in and if I push it I'm sore for a week. My therapist suggest talking with a surgeon again...take it slow

That's incorrect, you burn more the faster you move. Energy equals mass times velocity squared.

Drink lots of water with your meals, lots of fibre. A laxative may help in your current situation.

Search your local kijiji or craigslist. Lots of deals to be had for this type of gear.

Coffee, Apple or banana, some water. After i drink a protein shake with some milk/banana.

Less lifting, more cardio, 1 gram of protein/lb body weight, less carbs

Rather than weight or size goals, set a fitness goal. Start at running x miles and set your goal to y miles, the weight will come of naturally, do it daily or at least 4 times a week. If running is too much, ride a bike, stair master or other cardio machine. Weight is a good indicator of progress but fitness is better. You…
