Light walking outside until your doctor gives a thumbs up for anything else. You don't want to do more damage by over exerting yourself. Your back needs to support you for many more years.

Mine gets triggered by wheat and strong coffee mostly, but there has been times that it seemed any and everything makes it flare up. Ladies, thank you so much for your comments! I'm going to focus on doing each exercise in correct form and will try to do it every day unless I experience any severe discomfort. I guess I feel more prepared for "suffering" through it now, but no pain no gain!

It's best to speak to your doctor about this but generally those first 6 weeks do usurp a lot of energy that you would've used up in training. Getting to know your child and establishing some form of routine will keep you occupied. My OB/GYN said I could do some walking if I felt up to it having had a C-section. Best adice…
