Same here ya'll! Let's stick with it together and make it happen!
-
I started about a week ago. Good stuff!

Pretty much exactly this! When I use this site...and am honest with it, I lose. Please add me. I am in a good space right now in terms of being active, but haven't lost in a bit...so I am hoping to see it on the scale again soon.

I'd like to lose 30 pounds before my wedding...but I am not engaged!
-
Agreed. And giving up sweets as well. Yikes!
-
Agree with so much of what has been said! Support and accountability (often one in the same) are key! Feel free to add me...the more the merrier! Have a great Monday everyone!

Hey all! Such the pattern for us all, right? I am a former college athlete and coach that has fluctuated post-injuries and life events. I am ALL about making it a lifestyle now and not a diet. Let's all help motivate each other to stay on track and get back at it when we hit a bump. Cheers to OUR success!

I am in! Maybe steps or activity?
-
I am also in my 30s, "former" athlete, and see the difficulty of losing weight at the same rate I used to. We can do it though! Feel free to add me and we can keep each other motivated!
-
Yep! Feel free to add me. The more accountability the better!

Any serial show that I can get so engrossed in I can focus on that and not that I am in for the long haul of cardio. Any cop drama, 30 for 30 on ESPN, Friends, etc. Good luck!

I usually use cabbage for wraps as well and this is an AWESOME recipe for "Asian Turkey Cabbage Wraps" that can be an entrée or I sometimes make it as an app if I am having people over. A big hit! http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/asian-turkey-cabbage-cups-10000001932640/

AGREED! I was JUST looking for one!

I am game! I have been doing paleo for a few weeks now and feel good, but could always use diaries to peak at and confidence to stay true to the lifestyle. I am usually pretty good at tracking, but I sometimes just do "quick add" if I am in a rush. I am going to work on at least adding in food notes from now on. Keep up…

Welcome! I am new to paleo as well, but I am working on it and my diary is open. I have been super busy the last week or two, so sometimes I just do quick calorie entries, but I have been trying as many new recipes as possible since I love to cook! Tonight, I tried this crustless crab quiche with some awesome crab I got…

Welcome! I am newer to the paleo lifestyle and am still working on it, but I have dropped some lbs. and feel better in general...so I am a believer! Mine diary is open, but I have been on a time crunch lately and sometimes just add quick calories. Tonight I made an AWESOME crab quiche that was fantastic. :-) Here is the…

Welcome! I am new to the primal/paleo lifestyle here, but it does sound like you are more "primal". Right now I am staying away from dairy as much as possible and more or less trying not to eat anything processed...which isn't easy in a busy spring, but I am making it work! I know you said you didn't eat bread too often,…

Ditto to wanting some paleo-friendly friends to bounce ideas/recipes off of and see what works best for you all! I am only two weeks in, but I feel better...though still having some carb cravings. Please feel free to add me and I will do the same. Cheers to a healthy lifestyle!

I started about a week ago and am carving down my flavored water stock pile. I like the advice of tapering down if you can and now that summer is right around the corner...lemon and cucumber in your water is awesome. Good luck! Feel free to add me as a friend and we can support each other.

That is soooo fantastic! Congrats on all of your hard work and committment to your daughter!
-
Half of a steak, some thin grilled asparagus, and an orange for dessert. YUM! Paleo kicks butt!
-
Agreed on the statement about joining a fitness group or taking the same class/classes each week. That is how I met people at my gym :-)
-
Phone app...which is free! You can scan foods in by the bar code and log during the day. I plan as much as I can, but that doesn't always work out, and I don't always log ahead of time. Good luck! GO TEACHERS!!!!! :drinker:

Not only am I excited to make these, but also wanted to share that you can make doggie treats out of the rest of your pumpkin. Here is the recipe I use that you can sub paleo -friendly ingredients into if you would like. Awesome for all pups :-) You can just either double the recipe or use all of the left over pumpkin and…

LOVE this recipe that I found after the first time I had the Zuppa Toscano from Olive Garden. Freezes well too. http://restaurant.food.com/recipe/olive-garden-copycat-zuppa-toscana-38298 Also, I love chicken posole...lovely chicken soup with Mexican spices and hominy so it is very filling. Here is the recipe I use, but if…

Get fitted for sure....at a more upscale department store they tend to be more accurate...such as Nordstrom's (just my experience), and they have ladies who that is their specialty and they can point you to the right bras (everyday and sports) for you. I need to do that too, so sad that it is the ONLY place I do not want…

This. I like to tell people I am being successful at not being in an unsuccessful relationship right now

mapmyrun. I like the options...I set it to giving me an update every 5 minutes so I know my current and overall pace and distance (and calories burned) which has helped me to work harder. It's free too!

Me and my abs are IN!

Besides different kind of lettuce (already said) I also use cabbage. It doesn' work with every kind of food, but pulled pork (kind of like a wrap of coleslaw built in??) and also this awesome asian turkey recipe I make ALL of the time: http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/asian-turkey-cabbage-cups-10000001932640/
