I am super frustrated. I went to the IIFYM caculator I am 4' 10, 49 and weigh 163 workout 4x a wk my breakdown is: Carbs - 46.5 Protein - 163 Fat - 65.2 Calories - 1425 Why is are my carbs so low compared to others I see?

Simplyjia I am also a shortie (4'10" on a good day - LOL) my goal weight is the same. I am been wanting to try macro way of eating and today decided to put in my nutritional goals of a 40/40/20. My caloric consumption is only 1200 a day :/. Did you try the macro way of eating?

Thank you for your post!! I am 4'10" and my doctor told me I should be eating at least1500 calories and up to 1800 if I am exercising 5-6x a week. A 1200 calorie a day diet is to low.

I recently got the Polar FT60 when I do the treadmill or the elliptical trainer my heart rate matches the machines perfectly, but the calorie burn can be as much as 100 less on the Polar FT60. I am not sure what to trust and of course am VERY disappointed on the numbers on the Polar FT60. Advice? TIa

I am NOT a runner and have tried this app many many times. I have always dreamed of being a runner but just thought I never could. I would start, stop at wk 3 and start over I think mentally I was scared to move on. WELL this week I completed wk 4, I never in a million years thought I could run for 4 , 6 and 4 minute…

Count me in and I need a lot of guidance and recipes. I started low carb today, I am a sugar and carb lover, but I find after eating them I am SOOOO bloated and feel terrible. Not sure how to track carbs vs. calories on MFP I guess you can just remove the calorie counter in the settings. Add me as a friend :smile:

Sweebum thank you, it makes a little more sense. Just just wear it all day and it should balance out at the of the day? It is just frustrating when you work out and only see a few calories burned.

I started last week. My last run I noticed I ran faster and longer. I am running on a treadmill so when I have over a minute to walk I increase the incline to 10 :)

I am on my 2nd week of C25K app on my iphone and I noticed today running on the treadmill I ran faster and for a longer distance. One day I will take it to the street :smile:
