  • I quit cold turkey. I guess I was just mentally ready to throw in the towel. My quitting anniversary is in September, and it'll be 3 years since my last cigarette. Good luck! Get in the mind frame of truly wanting to quit. If you get to that point, you will succeed.
  • YES! I agree, do NOT rely on breastfeeding to help you lose weight! I ended up maintaining my weight for a long time because of how hungry nursing made me with my second baby! Now that my little man is older and nursing has slowed down a lot, I'm finally getting my weight down! :)
  • Bahaha, we have the same name (well, nickname in my case)! With my first I lost about 13 pounds when I was discharged. With my second it was about 7 pounds, but I got pumped full of fluids from being on pitocin.
  • I know it's not fat pounds that I'm losing. I know the basics of it due to what I learned while in the military. I just didn't know if it was okay to lose that much weight so quickly, even if it were water weight. I also know that my weight can fluctuate. I do not adjust my weight daily on MFP, only when it's at a new low.…
  • Yep, definitely a couch potato here. My oldest son is almost 5, and my youngest is just shy of 18 months old. My youngest does not walk yet, so it's quite easy to be lazy with them. I'm sure it'll change once he starts really moving. LOL After I notice my weight stabilizing, is that when I should adjust my lifestyle…
  • I feel like I'm eating enough, because I feel energized all the way until I'm getting ready for bed. I didn't have energy like this before I started tracking my calorie intake and exercising. I don't get that sluggish feeling around 3-4pm anymore. I've only been tracking with MFP for 3 weeks. I have noticed my clothes are…
  • I'm 5'2" and my goal is 130. I'm sure it'll change once I get there, but that's what it is for now. Now.. the subject title made me think of the old AOL chat rooms.. A/S/L PLZ
  • All this talk about a chocolate stout.. I do think I may have to try one of those! I have to thank my husband for introducing me to Blue Moon, because I have fallen in love with it! I used to NOT be a beer drinker, until he showed me the good stuff! :)
  • You are amazing!! You are my new motivation!
  • I wouldn't call it a fail. I knew what I was doing when I stuffed my face last night! It was worth it too! I'm back on track today! :)
  • I am far from vegetarian, and I have a slew of mental disorders! Asperger's, ADHD, anxiety disorder and PTSD. How on earth could they make a reliable study with that? I would only assume that it is a coincidence.
  • Any who.. We don't say it all the time. But benich3043 is my husband, so he all ready answered. :)

  • To be honest I've just been doing cardio really. I haven't been doing this long, but I've been slimming down gradually over the last few months. Most of my extra weight is in my hips, thighs and butt. My inner thighs haven't been super bad, so it wasn't much that I had to slim down there.
  • sdfkjhasdlfkjaskldfjasdlfjksdf OMG NO BRADLEY NO
  • I was one of those women (theoretically), until last week. I decided it was time to make the change. I've said things about how I needed to lose weight. I knew that I was eating terribly, and that not exercising was why I was the weight I was. I had to build up the courage to face it myself. I used to give my husband crap…
  • Absolutely! I'll go whisper sweet nothings to it, and hope it listens. :)
  • Amazing!! Fantastic job!! Nice fish btw! :D
  • That is a relief to hear that! I'm gonna go eat my tuna salad now! LOL
  • I'm on Methylin ER for ADHD. It messes up my appetite a little, but not to the point where I can't eat. I just have to make a conscious effort to eat, because it's like I kind of forget to. I won't get the signal that I need to eat something until I REALLY need to eat something. By then I've got a massive head ache and…
  • Oh, yeah. I forgot about that. :>

  • They work different muscle groups. Pointed out does your chest and bicep. Bringing them in (parallel to your torso) does your tricep and upper back. I'm surprised you don't know this. I hated doing push ups with my elbows in, so I always did it with them out.

  • Why do you think I give you so much crap about it? You were making me jealous, but now my jealousy can fuel my competitiveness. ;)
  • Weight trackers? Now that sounds like what I need! Take all the guess work out of it :D
  • Aww, I love you, Tammy! You give me a lot of motivation too, you know? Watching your transformation is very inspiring. <3 I was due in February '11! My little man ended up coming early in January, just over a week after my birthday! I guess he thought January was pretty cool, too. My goal is 135lbs for now. I want to lose…
  • Well I'm glad you enjoy it. X_X
  • OMFG BRAD! The first post of yours that I read and it's about me taking advantage of you sldfjoaisdjfkasdfasdf <3
