For me, foe. Instead of motivating me when it's up, it discourages me. I think, I worked so hard and it's up anyway so why bother. I hate that blasted scale! :grumble:

I've been having migraines for years... I've seen several doctors and two neurologists. They think mine is also hormonal due to having PCOS. Mine are triggered from stress, changes in weather, strong smells, and (unfortunately for my exercising) my pulse going up. I was missing work unpaid 1 to 2 times a week, with FMLA. I…

I have a 50 Sith inquisitor on Mind Trick, but I've been in a non-video gaming funk for about a month. I intend to start playing again in a couple weeks thogh. I haven't gotten to go on anything major yet unfortunately, but my guild was starting to schedule things when I stopped playing.

Hi! I'm Allie, and I'm 32. Hopefully it's obvious I am female... I prefer RPGs. Currently playing SWTOR and Skyrim. Looking forward to when I can get Mass Effect 3. Love Dragon Age, Fallout, The Witcher... I played Everquest for almost 10 years. Beta tested and played WoW for three or four. Gave several other MMOs a shot…

You look great! I wish I looked more like you! All my weight is in my midsection, I can't tell I've lost weight hardly at all. My family says they can so I guess that's good, but I hate looking pregnant! (Yes I've been asked that...)

I am right there with you! Oh how I hate that blasted scale! I try to weigh once a week, Sunday mornings, but I usually wind up stepping on the blasted thing every morning... it's just *right there* waiting for me! I know I haven't been drinking enough plain water. I got in the habit of putting powders in (like, Crystal…

My mother always used baking soda to cut the acidity of tomatoes. I used to like watching it bubble up when she added it to the sauce. :-)

i have insulin resistance and the best thing for me so far has been a diabetic type diet. Low carbs, low sugar. I aim for less than 15g of sugar a day, and less than 140 carbs a day but I'm still struggling to get that low... usually winds up more like 20 and 200!

Hi! I can't say I have tips because I am far from perfect! But I can say... when I screw up, I look at tomorrow as another day with a fresh start.

King sized Reese's. I don't mean the one with like four regular sized cups, but one ginormous Reese's cup. Italian food... Thai or Indian... all good choices! Banana nut bread hot and fresh and slathered with butter.

I feel like giving up a lot of days. Some of us don't even have to eat "gross amounts of food" to gain weight. With insulin resistance, a glass of milk puts me over my sugar allowance and I feel l like I gain a pound! The main things that keep me going is the accountability... people know I'm on a mission, and when they…

So far, the best advice I have is to track *everything*. When I stopped recording everything because I was at a point where I thought I had a handle on how much I could and couldn't eat, my scale stopped going down. I started recording everthing again and lost 4 more pounds. So here I am!

Hi folks, I'm new to the group too but I thought I would pitch in. Previous Group Loss: 17.6 My Loss: 3.2 New Group Loss: 20.8

I would like a group invite as well. I found out I have PCOS about two years ago, as well as insulin resistance. I've always been overweight and struggled with people assuming I just ate too much or having doctors blame everything that is wrong with me on being fat, not eating right, not getting enough exercise. Not a…

I'm from Madison, just north of Nashville and would love some friends for support on here. I'm tired of my stream being so empty!

Hi folks! I'm Allison (or Allie). I was born in East Ridge, grew up in White House and now my husband and I live in Madison with our 3 dogs and 2 cats. I have lost 34 pounds and have a long way to go. I struggle with my weight and I have PCOS which is a contributing factor, but I am trying very hard to control my weight…
