I will not deny myself things I crave. Instead, I just make sure that if I go over my calories, I exercise enough to cover it. :) It may not be the "healthy" way to do it, but it's what works for me.

Ohhh...I think I'll do this one. I did a challenge at the beginning of the year and kinda slacked off in February, not gaining, but not losing either. I'd like to lose 10 more lbs by the end of March. :) My SW will be 160.4

Take it from someone who didn't take pictures.......TAKE THEM. lol I wish I had. Cause I now fit into things that I didn't before, but I honestly can't really see a difference in myself. I think pictures really would've helped.

Week: 3 CW: 164.4 Loss/gain: -1.1 lbs. I thought for sure that I wasn't going to lose anything this week. I kept checking the scale all week long and my weight kept going up and down and never back to what I weighed in at last week. But, sure enough, I stepped on the scale this morning and I lost. lol I won't complain.…

I just sent you an add... :)

I eat 1200 calories (except on days I exercise..then I eat more) and I have no problems. I think the key for me has been to be sure I'm eating every 2-3 hours. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack. As long as I stick to something close to that, I'm fine and not hungry. When I skip snacks (which I sometimes do), I…

Part time in accounting, the other part is spent at home with my 6 year old homeschooling. :)

Welcome! :) I'm in CA too...I'm sure you'll do great!

Definitely exercise and lots of water. I have exercised at least a few days during my TOM and it has helped tremendously with cramps. I used to turn my nose to people who said that exercised helped them...but once I actually did it, I was amazed! I've only had to use pain relievers (Motrin or Midol) once during the last 3…

Hi!! Welcome...I love that..."diet Facebook" lol :)
-
My stats are almost exactly as yours...I'm 5'2" and my SW was 186. I also had it calculate my calories at 1200 and I've had no problems with staying around that. I get more calories when I work out (and I work out if I think I might need more). I've already lost 18lbs (in the past (almost) 3 months), so it seems to work ok…

I started at 170 and lost 2.2lbs...so CW at 167.8. 7.8lbs to go!

OMG, some of these are hilarious! I'm still fairly new and haven't had any...I never knew there was this whole other side to MFP. LOL
-
Hey, we're pretty similar...I'm the same height and started at 186...and my (ultimate) goal is probably going to be somewhere around 130-145. I just can't see myself being much less either. Hi everyone!! Feel free to add me as a friend if you want. :)

Wow, reading that made me cry! lol Thank you for sharing and you're truly inspirational.

You look amazing! Congrats!! :)

Hi! :) I'm 5'2" and 170 (CW). I love my height, but I hate that every bit of weight can make such a difference.
-
I love my Coke Zero....but I don't drink it too often. Maybe one a day, sometimes one every other day. I'm trying to drink more water and if I drink a CZ, it hinders how much water I end up drinking for the day. I'm just not used to drinking so much (water). lol
-
I've lost 16lbs in the past 11 weeks. I'm learning that I can eat and not deprive myself from foods that I love and I'm learning to enjoy working out and drinking water (2 things I used to despise). lol :)
-
Tina (momtodeshawn) - I'd like to lose 10lbs. My SW is 170.0.
-
Sadly, nothing. :( But, I'll probably buy myself a HRM or a scale. lol :)
-
I'd like to do this too :) I would like to lose around 10-12lbs by then. Oh...and this will be my first "challenge" too. I'm excited!
