Welcome! The one thing I am discovering about myself is that every single day and every single food choice is a challenge. Feel free to add me. I'll be here to cheer you on.

Every single day is a challenge for me with eating. Feel free to add me. I will log honestly and cheer you on for every single baby step you make towards your goal. This is a complete change of life and doesn't happen overnight, but with the right motivation and will, can happen.

My favorites are to eat peanut better and Nutella on a slice of whole grain bread. The bread and peanut butter fill you up and the Nutella fixes any chocolate cravings. Also, having single servings of whole grain cereals in zip loc bags really helps control how much you eat. My new favorite is Special K Dark Chocolate.…

I'm in the same boat with the nighttime eating. Once the kids get in bed, I'm suddenly searching for my evening snack. I'm trying to compromise on my snack. I may try dark chocolate chips or a couple of mints to see if that helps. I've heard mint gum helps too.

I think we all lose motivation in some way. I couldn't agree more that we have to find motivation daily. If this were an easy process, there would be no overweight people in the world. What helps keep my motivation is to read the success stories on here and learn from what worked for them.

^^ This and reaching out for support as you are is the best way to make friends. I'm on here daily and comment as much as I can on posts made by friends. Supporting and cheering on each other is the best part of this site. I love my MFP friends.

It's totally true. I agree with him. ;-)

Awesome to see so many of us doing the same thing! Feel free to add me! Today is my 3rd day on it and I'm determined to push through the pain! Having to wait until the kiddos go to bed to do it today. I'm sure that's going to make me sleep really well tonight. lol

*So I don't look like my mom when I'm older and can't pick something up off the ground. *So I can walk up and down the stairs with a little less pain. *So I can wear dresses without looking like a cow in a pretty dress. *So I can be a total MILF and make my exes kick themselves. ;-)

I started it yesterday too. Feel free to add me. I'm totally loving the 30DS!

Great post! I needed to know this too!

Thanks! I bet it would be great with some chopped kale and spinach! I'm trying it tomorrow.

The DVD is $10 at Wal-Mart. I just bought it today and I'm going to start tonight when the kids go to bed. I have some health issues, so I won't be moving at quite the same pace, but I know it definitely will help me. I'm super psyched about it!

I'm a 37 year old mom of 3 and looking to lose 35 more pounds. In the past 40 days, I've given up soft drinks and majorly changed the way I eat. Send me a FR and we can cheer each other on!

Good luck with it. Rest during your recovery period! Don't force your body to heal before it's ready to. Can't wait to watch your progress here.

37 year old mom of 3 (14, 6, and 3), with Fibromyalgia, RA, asthma, and waiting to see what my neurologist says about my possible TIA or seizures. People just shake their heads when they hear the list of what is wrong with me- I just laugh. I'm stubborn as hell and I think that's what keeps me fighting this instead of just…

Such inspiring transformations!! Thanks for sharing!

Awesome reward! This site is by far the best for getting and giving support along the journey. Good luck!!

^^^ Exactly!! I forget I have freckles and don't really think anyone else pays attention to them either. Then again, I have quite a few tattoos, so they tend to get all of the attention.
-
I'm here way too much, but it's keeping me motivated and on track. Feel free to add me.
-
Amazing changes!!! Thanks for telling your story and inspiring us!
-
Dislikes kids and animals Poor hygiene Takes longer to get ready than I do. Boastful Shallow

Congrats on reaching your goal!!!

I'm on here constantly. I'm down 10 pounds so far and going to lose 35 more.
-
Obviously a 10.

I think the idea is to avoid throwing your body into starvation mode, where it retains fat. I'm not eating mine back until I hit a plateau. I am trying to eat a lot more protein and less carbs. If I'm starving, I'll eat some dried berries or veggies and try to push towards my calorie limit.

I'm 37 with 35 more to lose.

Don't give up. I never thought I would change the way I see food, but here I am 26 days later and 10 pounds gone already. I have given up my soda addiction and have changed so many of my habits. The key is to log every single thing you eat and look at your fast food calories before you eat them. Good luck on your journey!
