Good job mama! These are hard conversations to navigate for sure.

Hey there! I'm also a mom of 4, our youngest was born 4 weeks ago. I've lost the baby weight twice, but didn't between the 3rd and 4th babies so I've got about 40 pounds to lose. I use MFP and Couch25K with a goal of a half marathon in April. Feel free to add me!

Amazing!!

Amazing! I'm also working on baby weight after my 4th baby in 5.5 years. You are an inspiration to me.

He's a board certified OB/GYN. Hormone saliva tests are much more accurate than a blood test taken at a non specified time of the day, actually. Unlike a regular OB/GYN he will look at all my systems and body functions to treat me instead of finding drugs to mask symptoms.

Thank you for the responses. I see a functional medicine doctor Friday to help figure out what the cause is.

I'm a mom of three and working towards pre preg weight plus another 20 lbs, maybe. Added you!

I've heard that 10-15 pounds thing! Which is OK, I have at least 40 to go. So if I set MFP to lose 1.5 pounds a week plus eat exercise calories and 300 extra for breastfeeding, that should work?
-
Anybody?
-
I'm breastfeeding, currently doing Insanity and my daughter will be 8 months the 21st. I keep my cal level at 1300 and then add another 300 for breastfeeding. I eat my exercise calories back occasionally.
-
Ok, no skipping rest days.
-
We have kids so getting only one bed won't work :(
-
I have it but the guys voice drives me nuts and I can't stand to do it. I'm currently doing Insanity but still need to work on my backside. Maybe after I'm done I'll try it again.
-
Wow! You look fantastic! Its nice to see another nursing mama doing so well. I'm doing Insanity, done with the first month now. I give myself 300 cals for EBFing. My baby is 6 months old.
-
My baby is only 6 months old and we are EBF. Because of this my hormones are completely nuts and I have a period like every two weeks. Which means bloating and seeing no difference on the scale every two weeks. My weight loss has majorly slowed too but I think part of that is getting semi close to goal. I feel you!

This happened to me as well, except that I was pregnant with his child at the time. It felt like the most awful thing ever, took me a long time to get over it. But it truly was the best thing that ever happened to me. I have a wonderful husband now and am a thousand times happier than I would have been had I got what I…

Thanks so much. If I do Insanity 6 days a week, 1 day is a total rest day (although I usually run) and the other is Cardio Recovery which isn't hard at all. I'm not sure if that is considered moderately active or very active? I'm leaning more towards moderate which would put me at a calorie goal of 2288 calories, which is…

Just got through the nutrition section. Why am I so scared of all those calories? I definitely am.
-
Thanks for the advice everyone. I got The New Rules of Lifting for Women today, so I'm devouring it now.
-
What an incredible transformation, you look great! Going to bookmark your blog to check it out after my workout. Congratulations and good luck with your lift!

Mom of two here! Sending friend request.

I have a 6 month old and a 2.5 year old and I stay at home. I do DVDs (I'm currently doing Insanity) while my 6 month old naps and my older son plays in his room.

I have noticed a difference, although at 5'7 and 156 lbs I'm not in the toning phase yet, still trying to blast fat. From everything I've read on here, toning comes from weight training. I plan to start a heavy weight lifting program 3 days a week with insanity workouts two days a week once I complete Insanity once all the…

I just completed week 3, day 5. I'm feeling good. My upper body strength has improved immensely, but anything with pushup in the name is still difficult. The cardio aspect of it is difficult, but I'm a long distance runner and have been able to do all workouts not skipping any days. Pure cardio is my favorite day, while I…
-
Wow! Congratulations, that is a very noticeable difference.
-
Very interesting. I'm currently breastfeeding so going below MFP recommended 1200 calories isn't an option, even if I go higher on other days. I also have issues with wheat so I don't eat a lot of carbs anyways. I was more just curious as to what people were talking about. Thanks!

You look fantastic!
-
Two awesome milestones! Congratulations and happy birthday to your daughter :)
-
We have the same weight and height, but my baby is 6 months and we are EBFing too. I'd like to be about 140 though. I've lost 18 pounds since June 24 but its slowed down since I started Insanity. I love your babies name!

danithegirl- you look fantastic! I'd kill for that stomach. I'm working on it, but two kids later, I'm sure it will never look like that. Awesome job!
