  • If you just found about it (within a few days), Ask your doc for a medication that you can take a prescription medication called Valtrex. This will greatly reduce the time that you will suffer from shingles. A coworker had it at the same time as my sister in law. The coworker took Valtrex and her symptoms were SIGNIFICALLY…
  • I'm still at work since it's not 5 yet here on the west coast. But I've recently started a part-time job afterwards. Been at it all week and last weekend. Nothing tonight but I have to participate in our general election of our HOA officers.
  • Hi Jenise-- Have you scrolled down to green button at the bottom of the page to add item to meal? Good luck on your journey. This site is terrific.

  • I have osteoarthritis in my knees, esp. my left one. Recumbant biking is what I do when they're not doing so well. When they are better, then I do elliptical. The treadmill seems to aggravate them.
  • Those look tasty! I'm picking up some shrimp on the way home!
  • I think that when you're doing your profile, it asks they kind of job you do. If you're at a computer all day, if you stand/walk, or if you do heavy lifting. I think that it calculates your daily caloric intake. If this is a new job since you've done your profile, then I think you have to go back and change your job on it…
  • Great Job!!!
  • Thanks everyone for the compliments! I am feeling so much better than I did last summer at this time. I still have my aches and pains but I work around it. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter
  • At 24Hour Fitness today I held a plank position or prone-iso abs position for two whole minutes with my trainer. I was shaking like a leaf, my muscles were soooo spent. When I first started back in December with my first trainer, I could hardly do 15 seconds! This latest one says that he's never trained a woman who could…
  • :flowerforyou: Welcome aboard! You'll LOVE this site and will make many friends!
  • I saw this on BBC America and it was quite shocking. Esp. the woman who does I would say, "method journalism" suffering for the story, kind of like "method-acting', ala, Marlon Brando, Paul Newman and Dustin Hoffman. She had some REAL ISSUES and was really doing it to the extreme. Hopefully she has turned her head around…
  • [Thanks SBS! I posted before leaving work and you came through before I got home. You're great! Thank you! url=http://www.myfitnesspal.com/weight-loss-ticker] [/url]
  • I am taking a cholesterol test tomorrow and I know that I have to fast 12 hours prior. I usually go to the gym on Sat. mornings and I top it off with a swim and a 10-15 minute session in the jaccuzzi (my knees feel better afterwards--osteoarthritis). I was wondering if it was ok and if the exercise will change my blood…

  • Panda Express Chicken with Mushrooms (130 Cals - - the lowest cal entree they have) and the Mixed Veggies (90 Cals.) and water. I'm trying to save my cals for tonight's dinner out!
  • You can log in your ingredients from the MFP food database and get a "general" calorie count. You also could go online for the brands of each item and get nutrition facts that way. Or you can note down what you had for lunch and get the info later when you get home. Hope this helps
  • :drinker: :drinker: Congrats MG on your milestones! :drinker: :drinker:
  • I got an Enell last month and I'm a 42G. If you lie on your back in bed to do up the hooks & eyes with your boobs falling outwards into the cups starting with the bottom hook and then do them up. It's so much easier than stuffing 'em in while standing. To take it off, just lie on your back and undo them. I found mine…
  • I found this conversion chart on the internet. http://www.i18nguy.com/clothing.html
  • Another natural sweetener that doesn't have any calories is Stevia. Stevia is an herb that is very sweet so you don't have to use much of it at all. Stevia comes in powdered and liquid forms. I prefer the liquid form since it isn't so messy. Just 3 drops in my tea or coffee and I'm done. You can get it at health food…
  • I do stuff for both shows, props, directors chairs, etc. Sorry Mereille, but 24 has closed for the season and they probably won't be shooting until July. :frown: Linda
  • Great idea! Whenever I have my allotment of water, it seems to fill me up and helps me lose the weight plus the added benefit of flushing toxins out.
  • :drinker: I DO remember your post and saw her performance on U-Tube. She is SO VERY talented. Your whole family must be bouncing off the walls! Congrats! Linda:happy:
  • I think that you would need something to take the sinus pressure off. Maybe Sudafed or Tylenol Sinus meds. Tylenol also has a pain reliever added for the headache and also meds for sinus pressure and nasal congestion. Also steaming your sinuses over a pot of steaming water with a towel tent over your head will loosen the…

  • The gals in my dept go out every Friday for lunch. Had Poquito Mas Ceasar with Chicken. Did a technique I have seen but never tried by dipping my fork tines in the dressing before taking a stab at my salad. I used about 1/2 the small cup they gave me.
