hello guys, gals and non binary pals! My name is Dennis from RI. I have been on here for almost 10 years now and i am trying to be more social than i've been to help keep me accountable. I am now doing an internet based weight loss program through a local hospital here. The thing i struggle with most is just always letting…

all i can say is, i finally learned that motivation comes from within. Even when you don't want to log or go to the gym just do it. the motivation follows. The point is do SOMETHING. Even walking into the gym is a huge step or having a whole day of logging in and being under your calorie goal. it is all those baby steps…

i have read many stories on MFP and yours is one of few that brought tears to me eyes. Maybe because i related to so much of it! Congratulations on all the accomplishments you've achieved and continue to do so! Like the quote says, basically, the year is going to go by whether or not you make a change so why not at least…

For me, it was an alternative to Weight watchers and it was free. Plus, i liked the fact that i could track more than just points/calories. Now i am tracking my macros. I am almost at 400 days of logging and i plan to keep going. I have lost 106 pounds so far. It is coming off slower now that i am closer to my goal. I am…

That's all you can do is one day at a time. That is my motto now. Otherwise it feels way too overwhelming to think about all the weight you have to lose. I know when i started i never thought i would get to this point, but i just focused on the small changes. Good luck to you

Great NSV today! I had a last minute meeting to attend during lunchtime. Food was ordered for us and because i had ordered a buffalo chicken quesadilla before, they ordered me that again because i never responded to the request to what i wanted. Well, i passed on it because i had already planned what i was going to…

interesting topic...i am shocked at the number of people that have Nutella and Goldfish on their list. i don't even like either one really. For me it would be, 1. Pop Tarts- i wish they came packaged individually because there is no way i am opening up one and putting the other one back 2. Oreos- especially double Stuff 3.…

Awesome songs!! i thought i was the only Airbourne fan....to me, Runnin' Wild is just one of those songs that is hard rock at its purest. I heard the song by accident when i stumbled on someone's myspace a few years ago and i was instantly hooked! Definitely gets me going on the elliptical...lol

i am over every single day! it is hard not to be becasue the allotment is so low it seems. I had dried blueberries in my oatmeal and it was 29g sugar! it is in so many things so i try not to worry about it too much and make sure most of the sugar is naturally occuring.

For me, it is my sodium because i know that can make my weight fluctuate even a few pounds. t is good to watch my sodium also because it forces me to make better food choices and cook more food at home so i have control over how much salt i use. It is unbelievable how much sodium is in processed foods and even worse is…
