my boy is 3 weeks old and I'm interested in adding other BF moms trying to lose some weight too!

i had really awful MS! I stuck with shakes in the morning, and eventually found that mint and cucumber sandwiches helped a lot! Along with lots of small candies.
-
i told my mom and husband's parents right away, but waited 12 weeks to tell everyone else. the wait kills!!

You're a machine! You should triple that goal next month!

I also denied myself for about 5 months until I started getting massive headaches. my midwife suggested I have some coffee to help and sure enough my headaches has almost stopped. I only drink it now when I feel a headache coming on or every once in a while when I go out for breakfast. I think everyone might be different…

I'm also a little worried about this! Before I got pregnant I saw a therapist weekly and was very stressed out ALL THE TIME! (although, i'm also in the navy which accounts for most of it ) but now that I'm pregnant i'm very happy, even being alone as my husband is stationed on the other side of the country from me. I'm a…

You've got a great attitude lady. Keep it up and don't get down if the scale creeps up a little.
-
I would say to take it with a grain of salt..and maybe ask the MW what her deal is for doing that. like we aren't already self-concious enough!!!

great job!!

that is a huge difference! Goes to show the scale is NOT the best thing to go by.

Thanks ladies, I'm about to make a very long drive tomorrow to go home on leave to visit family. I'll definitely be calling today to make sure I'm still good to go! I've been very fortunate as far as constipation. In my first tri I had about a week and a half where I didn't go and it was just awful but my diet seems to…

I too have been researching jogging strollers but it seems the verdict is in for the BOB!
-
I'm with you on this one! I'm definitely slowing down, but trying to continue to push myself. The heat really bothers me too at this point! I second what Mary said about the swimming. My gym is re-opening the pool next week and i've been counting down the days for the last month!
-
I was gaining a LOT during the beginning of my second tri, but not it's tapered off quite a bit. I realized i was eating too many sugary items ( ie: JUICE every single day..) and cut out a lot of foods that were unhealthy and I didn't need. I'm 29 weeks and standing steadily at about 28 pounds gained. I would say not to…

i've been told no flying after 28 weeks. i would advice against it. better safe than sorry, but if the airlines say OK and your dr doesn't have a problem it's your call!

i'm not going through one now, but when I was on deployment myself my husband was also stationed in Bahrain for a year. It's really difficult! Just keep busy an try try try to make friends. I've never been at home while my husband was gone since were both active duty, but i know being at home is probably the worst part…
