Feel free to add me on. I was down to 230 at my point, but then people said I was looking sickly, and christmas caught back up with me. However, I'm still highly motivated and back down on the scale. 15 to go!

They should be a little sore, but if they hurt the next day it's possible they are slightly strained. You are working those ab muscles though even through the fat. In fact your abs are typically the most worked muscle group throughout the day. I'm a guy, so sadly It's the last place I'm losing weight, but it is going away…

I'd love to meet some people! They'd understand what I went through to look like I do now! I'm in San Diego, and single. Then again, I'm also still a little new to this city (grew up in Michigan) so meeting anyone would be awesome.

It will happen from time to time. I had about 3 major plateaus where nothing happened. The scale would go flat or even +1 me! When it comes to food, a friend who has a body builder father told me to eat bad for one day when you hit a plateau. Eat something you normally would not. Then get right back on your routine. The…

I have a friend with an uncle who trains body builders. He ended up telling me that you do have to eat bad once in a while. Your body will actually get accustomed to your routine and then try to fight you on weight loss. Naturally, it doesn't like to let go! What he told me was to go out once a week and enjoy something…

Welcome, and I wish you success in losing 30 lbs!

Don't be frustrated! You probably put on a pound of muscle somewhere. And remember, muscle weighs more than fat! If you're losing inches, that's a great thing. Don't get discouraged, and keep it up!

My reward is a day at the spa.

Don't lose hope. Use those photos, and just keep doing what you're doing. Eventually your body will take notice and reward you. Remember also that you may be building muscle up and things inside you are shifting towards the good!

Thanks for all of the kind words guys. Hopefully the next update I have is when I hit the final goal of 235. My father wanted me to set a final point, so I said 235 to make him happy. :D

I can't stress it enough. Go see your doc, let them know that you want to lose weight, then go out and do it. With diet and exercise. Simple as that. I've kept it basic, and lost 70, so I know you can do it without pills like Hydroxycut.

Welcome aboard!

Good job! Now it's time to maintain it! The hardest challenge. :D

Worth every minute. The whole shopping thing (since I'm a guy and don't typically enjoy) was fun. Had to rebuy an entire wardrobe. :)
