  • I eat all the carbs... they are awesome! 215g a day right now, and I'm losing Body Fat...
  • I have a SUNTO brand HRM and LOVE it!!! It is perfect and I use it all the time. I can turn off all the sounds so it doesn't beep at me, my friends have other brands that just don't shut up! Mine has a chest strap and I'd recommend you get a model with a chest strap they will be much more accurate than those without.
  • I would have to agree with you... one day I ran, a lot, and the HR watch I wear says I burned about 1200 and this site said almost 1900 cals! That is a HUGE difference... REally bites when you don't know if what you're logging is actually correct. :(
  • Being under calories is actually a good thing, if you want to lose weight, which I'm supposing you do... As long as you're eating your minimum calories which would be your number of calories you'd burn if you just layed in bed all day. (wouldn't that be nice!) A general rule of thumb is to not ever be under 1200 calories.
  • I'm looking to lose about 20 too. Running my first half marathon this weekend... a little nervous!
  • 1 whole wheat (Orowheat) Sandwich thin -100 4 slices Hormel natural smoked ham -60 1 slice Sargento reduced fat pepperjack cheese (sliced)- 60 1/4 smashed small avocado (acts as mayo, but is yummier and healthier-@55 a TBS or so of sliced red onion a large can of low sodium v-8 -70 and don't forget the Water!!
  • I'm no expert, but I do know that you should never be below 1200 calories. That is bare minimum, for health safety reasons. How often are you working out? I try to get my goal calories and most of the time I don't eat all of my exercise calories (except on my cheat day) I do eat some of them though. I am eating 5-6 small…
  • In my opinion 8-10 cups is not nearly enough water a day. I've heard of people that strive for a gallon a day. I take in usually 18-22 cups in water alone. I think the answer lies in you. How are you feeling when you drink a lot of water? I feel great when I am drinking plenty of water. I can tell I am hydrated and I burn…
  • I think the main point is drink more water! Yes too much of anything can be bad, but as long as you are drinking plenty of water, you will be fine. In my opinion 8-10 cups of water a day is NOT enough. Especially if you're exercising daily or live in a hot, dry climate. So Drink up! as long is it's good old H2o. :)
