I eat a high protein low carb/sugar diet and have lost 54 lbs. How does this differ from an ordinary high protein diet differ? I'm not familiar with IP.

I weigh every morning before I eat or drink anything. I don't let the fluctuations bother me...they are normal. But generally it is motivating to me! I've lost 53 lbs in 4.5 months and I want to keep up with what my body is doing and what is working! Good luck with your new journey into getting fit!

I have a mini trampoline for jogging indoors...it will get your heart rate up pretty good! I got mine from Walmart for about 50.00 and it came with a counter and calorie burn estimator and some resistance bands.

Unless they have changed lately.....last time I looked at the nutritional data I noticed that the protein amount was miniscule, yet the sugar was much higher. Not what I wanted at all. I use a protein shake that is 25 to 30 grams of protein and very little sugar.

I started by using the machines in the 30 minute circuit at my gym...and started doing more of a variety after that.

I always do! Right now I am eating tons of yellow squash and other types of squash. Some tomatoes are getting ripe...the salad greens are beginning to wilt with the heat right now. I sometimes use fruit as a picture...It motivates me. If someones child motivates them to live healthier...so what? Do you not have some more weights to lift, and stop worrying about other peoples passions...GET A LIFE!

Whatever your opinions, I didn't start loosing weight until I started limiting sucrose and increasing green veggies and lean protein. I want to loose weight, not remain overweight. Eating lots of sugar/carb foods made me gain weight over a few years...when I changed my macros the weight fell off!

I consume at least 150 grams of lean protein every day on a 1200 calorie diet and I've lost 30 lbs in 95 days and built and toned muscle.
