If it hasn't been mentioned yet, blueberries. Either fresh or as juice. Works like magic, every time. And doesn't taste nasty or give you cramps.

Wow, amazing progress!

This. If I am strict with myself I wind up bingeing. When I was allowing myself some chocolate every night, I was doing really well at keeping things in check. I planned it into my calories and had something to look forward to nightly. That said, if you have any trigger foods, I would still try to avoid those. I know if I…

Yum! Wonder how it would taste without the cheese, and extra meat instead? (Baby is allergic to dairy and still breastfeeds, so no dairy for me.) Do I dare ask about the pizza cone?
-
Agreed. Track your exercise and change your goals to a lower loss per week.

haha I hear you! I've been off the rail recently and just eating whatever. Amazing how quickly it can add up when you aren't paying attention!

How so?? I just plugged her info into several different BMR calculators and they all came up at about 1650 or so.

Right. As for meeting calories, go full fat on your foods. None of that fat free crap they try to push off as food. Don't restrict yourself. If it's not a trigger food, enjoy the occasional cookie or ice cream. Everything in moderation. Eat the skin if you have chicken. yum! Red meat is a higher calorie source of protein,…

Yep, I'd go with her suggestion of 1700-1900. TDEE-20 is about 1760 for you.

If your BMR is actually your BMR (and not TDEE), you really need to be eating a lot more than you are. BMR is ONLY what your body needs to survive, say if you were in a coma. Try upping intake for a few weeks and see what happens. If you're not hungry, just eat foods that are more calorie dense. Even with IF you should…

I may have to try this one! I can't do dairy, and the almond/coconut ice creams are SO expensive. This sounds like a tasty (and cheaper) alternative.

Thank you! :)

It's showing as visible to me.

My newest nursling is 5 months old today. :) Add 500 calories a day for breastfeeding. You can add it as a food under breakfast, pretty easy. Make sure you're getting enough calories (minimum 1500/day), drink plenty of water, and enjoy that new nursling! You also don't want to do any cleanse type things, and try to keep…

Same here! I've lost 37 pounds, my old pants are literally falling off me, but when I bought replacements I wound up getting the same darned size. Add in the fact that I'm short, and pants shopping is becoming a nightmare!

I couldn't eat breakfast for years. I'd get sick every time. I found once I changed my diet (had to remove a lot of things that caused inflammation), my system is healed enough that I can eat breakfast again. I usually have a couple eggs and a piece of fruit. But nothing says you can only eat certain things in the morning.…

Thank you all for the ideas and links! When it comes to keeping skin toned while I lose, is there anything specific that will help more? Or will strength training of any sort be enough to keep from having leftover skin when all is said and done? Going to start out with the equipment free exercises for now, but a band,…

I can relate! I'm an emotional eater with a huge family history of food issues of all sorts. My youngest was born in March, and she's been my focus and part of my determination in getting healthy. I want her reality to be one of a healthy and capable parent, not one who is too tired or in too much pain to participate. One…
