  • It is an awesome program... I completed it almost a year ago, and then moved to the bridge program 5k - 10k. I never finished the bridge but I gained so much from the c25k, I can still go out and run 3 miles without a problem. Granted my speed is not where it was but I plan to start the bridge program again soon!
  • Nursing student here... 1 Year left to go! Working as an NA while in school so I am always busy, but add me and I will be happy to show some support!
  • Thought I would stop by and throw up an update. It has been 8 months or so since I originally posted this, and I am now down around 234. My weight loss slowed down a fair amount since I started college full time again in the fall of last year, but I am slowly still losing. I have not had the same amount of time I had…

  • Hey I weighed more and now weight 248lbs, 6 years after I started... I am still losing currently, but have gone up and down a bit. It is a hard road but I will never be in that position again. I figured out what things actually mean to me, and what it takes to keep it off... I enjoy the exercise, the life, the clothes, and…
  • There was a test I read about to judge your frame size. It was to measure the width of your elbow around the outside from point to point. Basically the run down is if it is under 2 and 3/4 inches your frame is normal and over would be large. I have no injuries or anything to make my elbows larger, but mine measure over 4…
  • Yea, I agree... With everyone that has posted so far. It is really hard to ever look back at how far I have come and just say, Wow I have done a great job, when I feel like I am not done. I will get to my goals eventually, I should not put strict time goals on the loss at least not ones that make me disappointed. I have 6…

  • Thanks for the kind words all, I really appreciate it. It has been a long road, but I am glad I made the right choice in pursuing these goals and have never given up. I still have a long road ahead with finishing my loss and the future surgeries I will need to get where I want in the end. The good news is at least now I…

  • They are fine, protein heals and is very smart for after workouts. It would only bulk you up if you ate a lot with it and did heavy lifting and needed it for muscle healing. I actually started losing more weight when I started using protein after my workouts.
  • my big goal is to lose 36 more lbs by August 1st, that is my one year on MFP. If i actually hit that goal I would have lost 144lbs since I joined MFP, and a total loss of around 500lbs... I know that sounds crazy but... its a fact!
  • optimum nutrition double chocolate is friggen awesome... The only one I use for lifting because it actually tastes good...
  • Target weight to me is so hard to gauge. I have never been thin... So I can't say I looked good at this weight or that. I am at 260 now, I want to hit 220 and then figure it out. I do intend to have the surgery I need around 220, which I am told could remove 30-40lbs... So I figure at 6'3 and a very large frame... 180-190…
