I started to run in October on the treadmill, no previous running and have since ran 9 Half marathon distances, 1 of them today. My story is here i posted it the other day.

It is an awesome program... I completed it almost a year ago, and then moved to the bridge program 5k - 10k. I never finished the bridge but I gained so much from the c25k, I can still go out and run 3 miles without a problem. Granted my speed is not where it was but I plan to start the bridge program again soon!

Cheers :-) running has been very kind to me. It's hard at first but as the weight drops it becomes easier and easier. I'm not bragging here so i hope it doesn't come across like i am but i don't even break sweat now until 1.5 miles in to my run and i seriously couldn't run the length of the street when i started. I have heard great things about C25K Go for it !
My advice is don't worry about speed, take it easy in the early days.
    Good luck !
