  • I used to drink SO much diet soda. I could get through 4 litres(140oz) on a bad day. I decided that this probably wasn't healthy, so I said I'd drink less in 2014. I didn't drink any for probably about 7 days and then when I did drink it again, I had symptoms worse than a hangover. Now I can't drink it because it makes me…

  • In lost my first 30lbs with Weight Watchers. Pros: it teaches you about food and nutrition and how to track everything on a daily basis. I found it easier than counting calories in the beginning. Cons: it costs money. Sometimes their database is lacking in certain food items(My Fitness Pal has a MUCH bigger database). I…
  • I lost my first 40 or so lbs just through nutrition(eating at a calorie deficit) and walking. I've only just started working out properly now and I'm enjoying it because I'm smaller and feel way more comfortable at the gym than I did before. You should do what works for you and if that means starting out with good…
  • Well done all, it is amazing how different it is for people. Should've said I started at 290lbs. I wish I noted my bust and arm measurements when I began, but it wasn't too bothered then! Funny that we started at the same measurements mrsward2010 :) you've done really well! x Onwards and downwards :)
  • This is what I do too.
  • I agree that 154oz seems a lot too, that's how much they think I should drink. I drink between 140oz to 210oz per day, but I do it because I'm a singer and it affects my voice if I don't, so I'm constantly aware of the fact that I should be drinking water. I keep a large bottle with me all the time. It helps me drink more.
  • Hey people, I just got a new job working in a factory, where I have to lift moderately heavy boxes of chips and throw them into bins, move pallets, pack cardboard (among other things) for 6hrs a day. It's pretty physical work. I just I have no idea how to log it. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Sarah.
  • Hey, does anyone know what "Stick twists" or "Broom stick twists" could be logged as? Cheers

  • Hey hey, I like to make airpopped popcorn. I was just wondering if anyone knows whether the calorie counter counts the weight for it as popped or unpopped? Thanks.

  • Hi I've just bought a new DVD; Yogalates - for weight loss. Which is a mixture of yoga and pilates. I can't find yogalates on the exercise counter, I've tried a couple of other different websites too with no luck. Does anyone know how many cals the program burns? Cheers,

  • I realise that everyone says that drinking wine is a no no if you're dieting, but I'm 21 and it seems a little impossible. If I save enough calories over for a couple of glasses, will it affect my weight loss? Thanks, Sarah.

  • You need to burn more calories than you eat to lose weight. I usually try and burn 500 cals to leave over.
  • You might be burning your body out, doing too much exercise for the amount of calories you're consuming. Could be that your body is hanging on to fat cause you're not eating enough.
  • Just keep thinking of your goal, and how happy and healthy you'll be when you've reached it. I try and think of how bad I feel after a bad day, and that usually helps me to stop. Also, one bad day is not awful, just as long as you get right back on track.
