I need to know too. It says you just click on the ticker to update, but mine does not move. I went back & did another one & it doesn't move either.

I couldn't get my ticker to work so I went back & made another. Does everyone else work by just clicking on it?

Sorry, trying to get my ticker to work.

I got my ticker on but I don't know how to add the miles? Help please.

I have an elderly friend that had breast cancer two years ago & just found out this week that she is Vitamin D deficient. It does seem to have a relationship plus she has been told to avoid sunlight, so that would keep the body from producing it. It seems to me the doctors should check this early on rather than two years…

I love her workouts. I like the fact that I get cardio plus total body exercise. It is hard to figure the calories burned. I use the miles walked. Leslies are generally 12 minute miles so you can use the 4 or 5 miles per hour. I think the charts give too many calories burned so I rarely eat back all of mine. I have been…

My doctor suggested I try for around 100 grams per day to control tryclerides. I have been eating this way except for holidays or feast days (like today at church). I eat great foods. Berries, a half banana, or half an apple, with peanut butter or cheese twice a day, great salads, lots of green vegetables, almond milk,…

I am a lifer. Without the structure, I just give myself too much leeway.

Two steps forward and one step back will still get you there, just slower. When you slip up, and we all do, just do the next right thing and you are back on the path.

Happy Birthday, & congratulations on your loss. You look terrific!

I am 57 and weigh 175 trying to get to 160. Add me if you like. My diary is open.

Have you been checked to see if you are insulin resistant. If you are like so many of us, the weigh will not budge unless you reduce your carbs as well as calories. Try checking to see how many carbs you get in a day & drop them to 100 or less & see if you lose. It is the only thing that works for me & it is still slow,…

I don't like profanity but anything else that helps me stay committed is okay by me. I don't control my friends choice of words in person or on MFP. Best wishes for you though!

If you know you have a special occasion coming up then save some calories to spend. You can enjoy it without any guilt.I don't do cheat days. If I have a meal, or a day when I can't control my choices as well, I try to enjoy them and get back on track. This is for life.

I have two favorites, one is the twenty five calorie Swiss Miss hot chocalate. I add a tablespoon of evaporated milk and a tablespoon of whipped topping. The other is 1/2 carton of Dannon vanilla yogurt for diabetics, with a serving of sugar free strawberry jello, a couple of fresh strawberries sliced and a tablespoon of…

For Humus, I make my own Pita chips. Josephs Pitas only have 60 calories, and the fiber takes away the carbs. I cut them into 8 pieces, toast in my toaster oven until crisp. No guilt, good for you snack. I eat them with tuna or chicken salad, or whatever needs a nice crunch.
