When I reach goal weight I plan on logging either one week out of the month, or a whole month every few months just to make sure my portion sizes and such aren’t accidentally growing.

I have this problem too! I used to try and eat ahead of time so that I wouldn't be hungry - but it didn't stop me one bit. So now I don't eat much at all before I go. I would also add that if you are going to a party, try to estimate and input your calories BEFORE you go to the party. Being aware of how quickly those calories add up is a good way to deter yourself from going back for food again and again.

I started in January when I came home from a semester in London where I had gained about 15 pounds. Since then I've lost 17 pounds in total and have about 10 more to go to get to my goal weight. It's a struggle, but it's worth it. Slow and steady is helping me to ensure that the weight stays off this time :)

I love grapes and raspberries and blackberries as well. oh yeah and Pineapple!! That's my favorite :) It has to be fresh and it has to be ripe (golden around the bottom) other wise it can be hard and the acid burns your tongue.

I do use a heart rate monitor and I love it. It tracks exactly how many calories I burn and my heart rate. I have a polar but they are a little on the pricey side. My suggestion is to buy one on eBay. You can often times get them for way less than a sports store. I look at the different ones for sale and then research them…
