  • I started supercharged in January after finishing nrol4w and love it!
  • Workout A1 down. In hindsight, push ups and inverted rows in the same routine might have been a bit over zealous of me. I could barely manage to put my hair in a bun this morning....
  • Makin, Yep all picked out and ready for Monday. I 've picked some ambitious exercises so we'll see how i do. Here's what it looks like A: cable tall kneeling chop Dumbbell single arm snatch Romanian dead lift Push ups Bulgarian split squats Inverted row ( really not sure whether i'm strong enough to do this one yet, but…
  • Jo, Haha I had to google it too. It totally made me giggle. It is a form defect while doing squats in which your spine (and therfore your butt) tucks inwards as you move down. It usually happens as you get closer to paralell. From what I found out on google, it happens when your hamstrings aren't long enough or aren't…
  • Thanks makin, it did get better. I gave it my all on my workout yesterday. like dripping sweat, almost grunting kind of all. Don't know why, i was just really motivated when I got there. I managed all my sets at pr weights. Oh boy am I feeling it today! It was worth it though, I feel great. Three more workouts and I'm on…
  • Ugh, bad workout this morning. Some one was using the cable machine which I needed for two exercises and the floor space was crowded so doing my push ups and Swiss ball roll outs was tricky. I had to move around my set routine to work in with the others at the gym which is not normal at 5:30 am in my gym. I felt like I was…
  • I understand what you mean, it's hard to eat healthy all the time, sometimes you just want to splurge right? The first reply makes the most sense to me, just eat the good stuff in smaller portion sizes. This is what I do generally speaking. But I have been known to lighten up really calorie dense recipes so I can eat them…
  • What was wrong with your form Tessa?? Ive never had my form checked so I wonder if someone would tell me that Ive been doing it wrong. LOL [/quote] Makin, About 4" before I hit parallel on my squat, my butt tucks in and down when it should be sticking out and upwards. Which naturally means that my back isn't arched…

  • Hi ladies! Makin: hopefully the new stage recharges your interest. Cowgirl: that was a great, clear explanation of the different dead lifts, thanks! I completed workout 2A of BTII today. I forgot how exhausting four sets can be! After my first A workout, I was really sore so I spent a good deal of time stretching and…
  • Barbell: I'm doing pretty good, I'll finish up BT1 on Saturday and start BTII on Monday morning with my PT (I only use him for the first workout of each stage, just so I know I've got the form down correctly). I'm finalizing my exercises today, and trying to decide if I'm going to repeat some of them or move on to more…
  • Bump to add recipes later!
  • Hi, you can't "share" recipes but, provided that you guys are friends on here, one of you can view the others diary and "copy"the meal. It's not a perfect solution, but it does work.
  • Beepejaye: the above two are correct it is height and foot placement that change the exercise. Split Squat: http://www.dailyhiit.com/hiit-blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/Split-Squat.jpg Lunge:…
  • Did my 2nd BT1B workout this morning, it went really well. I got a new Ipod shuffle for christmas and this was the first time I had it all set up and charged so I used it. So here I am doing my routine, my music blasting, trying not to take up too much space because the gym is full of new people and their trainers , and I…
  • It depends on your comfort level with lifting. I finished "For Women" in November and now I'm on "Supercharged". I really like them both, but I think I would have found "Supercharged" very intimidating if I hadn't done " For Women" first. I was completly new to lifting at the time and having to choose my own exercises…
  • I finally started Supercharged! Loved my workout this morning, (though I am going to miss barbell squats and dead lifts for a while...) Plank Mountain climbers Kettlebell swing Goblet squat Standing cable row ( gawd that was hard! ) Offset loaded step up Push up so happy to be back on a new program!
  • So, did you just mix protein powder in a cup with coffee? With a spoon? No wonder you failed. Here's what I do: 1 large cup freshly brewed coffee 1 scoop your favourite chocolate protein powder 1/3 cup milk You must blend the protein powder and milk, prior to adding it to the coffee! (I use my blender cup) Tastes…
  • I'm 5'6" and currently weigh 170lbs I just finished nrol4w and about to start supercharged. I plan on hitting my goal weight in 10-15lbs tops. I want to have muscle, and looked defined not "skinny". And that is my goal going into the new year. I looked at some of your profile pictures, you look great, I would be very happy…
  • I do something very similar everymorning for breakfast, Hot black coffee 1 scoop chocolate protien powder 1/2 cup 2% milk (the key is to blend the milk and protein powder before adding it to the coffee, no one likes lumpy protein shakes) with the powder I'm using right now it's less than 200 cals, with almost 40 gm of…
  • Sounds awesome, I've been looking for a recipe for tuna cakes thanks!
  • Hi Ladies! So I finished NRoL4W last month and am ready to start Supercharged! I'm just having a bit of trouble knowing which level of exercises to start on for Basic Training... I finished 4W with my deadlifts at 135lbs, squat at 125lbs, OHP at 25lbs but I still can't do a proper push up (super frustrating for me, I hired…
  • Hi, I've just finished NRoL4W and am about to start Supercharged and I've never made any of the dinners out of the book either (the mexican tuna salad in the lunch section is one of my favourites though), but I do keep to the 30% protein rule, the other macros equal out at 40% carbs and 30% fats. Basically the recipes are…
  • The only time my calories burned are reduced for the same exercise is when I lose weight, and enter that into my profile. As you lose weight, and become fitter, you burn less calories doing the same exercises. I wear a HRM and have been since the begininng, it's right inline with MFP's estimates.
  • I did hit a wall in stage 3, there were some exercises I just didn't like, but I pushed past it by telling myself stage 4 would be more fun. Partial leg squats were really hard on my knees so I substituted a hamstring exercise instead, and I also added weight to the back extensions almost immediately to make them more…
  • Hi! Just starting stage 7, then I'm on to Supercharged. I log everyday, good or bad. Feel free to add me!
  • Wow, amazing list thanks!
