  • Not sugary cold cereal like Quaker Oatmeal Squares or any other low cal and low fat one, baby carrots, low fat popcorn, a few raw almonds, laughing cow cheese on low fat crackers.
  • Popcorn
  • Sweet potatoes/yams and other things I vowed I'd NEVER eat I now eat and like most of them. I also do things I vowed I'd never do like measure my food:)
  • Healthy cold cereal, right now Quaker Oat Squares and veggies, especially baby carrots. I also prepackage snacks like Goldfish into single serving snack bags and keep them at work to snack on. That way I'm not taking time to count and not guessing on the serving size.
  • Do you know anyone else who might want to run it? You could sign them up that way they get to run free and you still get the discount:)
  • I used to do that and still should and it worked for me.
  • Funny to see Midland, Michigan on here. My son went on an LDS mission to Michigan and we have a mutual friend that lives in Midland:)
  • Never helped but have gone and walked around the track in Utah while my son and husband played in a band for entertainment. Someday I'd like to have a team and officially participate! Good work!
  • They did that at my old place of work and I REFUSED to participate because I was not going to feel guilty for eating cookies but did opt for the healthy one (30 min a day 5 days a week min). When I started losing weight I kept going and unofficially took 3rd in the Biggest Loser competition. I found that when the…
  • If you eat the calories listed as "total goal" that includes your exercise calories and contrary to what some people say on here you should eat at LEAST some of them. I used to eat all of them or almost all of them. Starvation mode doesn't mean you feel starved, just that your body perceives that it is starving. You might…
  • Protein shake or some other form of protein after working out might help. My husband's favorite is 1 c blueberries, frozen (or other kind of berries), 1 c protein powder, 1 c coconut milk, blend and drink. I like it with a little banana in it and he tried some peanut butter and lowered the protein powder and liked it. Try…
  • When I plateaued I would increase my calories for a weekend and then get back to the 1200 and it usually kicked my metabolism back up. Good luck!
  • I don't like water and used to only drink it if it was cold but found that after drinking it to lose weight and if it's too cold it hurts my teeth I drink it better if it is room temperature. I'm one that since I don't like it have to have a bottle on my desk as a visual reminder to drink it (dr said 64 oz a day for my…
  • I have a large dog who LOVES to walk with me. Before I moved to the city we walked 4 miles a day but now I walk him about 2 miles in the morning and then I plan to exercise without him after work. This way we both get exercise in the morning and I can do something else in the evening.
  • You can do it. I was 46 when I started and lost 54 lbs initially (some said too much and that I looked anorexic) and have gained 12 back but still work at and have had people say that I look a lot better at this weight. I REFUSE to gain it all back and I'm still under my PA's weight goal for me. I feel a TON better and…
  • Dry cold cereal, sugar snap peas, veggies or fruit, low cal popcorn and though not low sugar I have become a marshmallow addict when I drive cuz they're no fat and fairly low cal. You can take tiny bites if they're the regular size or I like the new fruit flavored-shaped ones or the stars, etc.
  • Or try making your own. My husband likes 1 c whey protein powder (vanilla) 1 c blueberries or whatever kind of frozen fruit you want and 1 c coconut milk. Blend and drink. I like them too but don't drink them a lot.
  • Only YOU can make you feel guilty, other people can try but you're in charge of how you feel:)
  • When I'd hit a small plateau I increased my calories for the weekend (or you could try just one day) and that usually helped. Good luck and stick with it.
  • Dr. and PA-C both recently told me at least 8 glasses (8 oz) a day to prevent dehydration and for healthy kidney function.
  • Special K Chocolate Chunk or Kashi Go Lean Crunch are good but I'm not sure of the calorie/fat content. I don't eat a lot of cold cereal and quite often end up throwing it away because it isn't worth the calories but I would get the Special K and use it as a snack or I like the Kashi in yogurt but not a full serving size.
  • As long as you're happy with them who cares what everyone else thinks? Especially since you don't even know them:)
  • Wal-Mart
  • Yes it is, I did it in about 6 months! I cut followed the calories recommended on here and walked 4 mph for an hour a day most days of the week. I cut wayyyyy back on my sugar intake (wish I could do it again) and ate healthy food, more veggies and fruit. Good luck and even if you don't make it to the 6 by the wedding when…

  • I like to fry it in balsamic vinegarette salad dressing with or w/o salad. Other salad dressings that I like are Asian and Italian (any kind, roasted red pepper or regular). I use the lite dressings so it doesn't add much fat but tastes good. You can also just fry it in teryaki sauce.
  • I've heard that it was really good but haven't been able to find it yet. I've wondered the same thing about the free everything!
  • Definitely sweet unfortunately.
  • My husband loves 2 scoops of Isolate Whey Protein Pd, 1 cup coconut milk and 1 cup blueberries (or other berries). Supposed to be around 300 cals and he says it is very filling.
