Nice progress so far, well done for joining mfp - best thing you could have done  My top piece of advice is 'don't let the occasional mistake get you down' - just accept that you are merely human and move on! Good luck
-
I'm re-joining after a break too! Friend requests sent :-)
-
Me too! Was successful on mfp but taking my eye off the ball and dealing badly with work related stress have messed me right up! Looking to get back on the straight and narrow - log every day and be supportive x
-
From Hampshire, havn't weighed recently, was very active and successful thanks to mfp but backslides do occur! Need to loose 20lbs+ and very supportive so feel free to add me anyone :-)

Fitbit customer services are great, they replaced my fitbit totally free when I washed it, even though it was totallly my fault and I told them so! If you have any problems don't hesitate to get in touch with them

Sending you a request - looking to get re-motivated on mfp after a bit of a break We can help each other!

Love it too! Drizzled on cheese on toast, on plain toast with glass of milk; oh and on cashew nuts mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
-
Thanks for the tip - just ordered it
-
No idea but love that you do this too - cakes taste much better this way!

Me too, nail biting all my life. blooming iritating - my bf threatens to rub them with raw chili but he hasn't done it yet.... Is it related to other issues & food?

It is really good to have found this thread - I've been reading the "emotional eaters" groups but these don't really described what I experience. Like the other posters above, I do ok some days, although I am still food-obsessed, but every week or so I fall off the wagon spectacularly. I don't feel bad during these times -…

Some good things here, particularly like the clean your teeth option; and doing chores at night to distract yourself. I will try them tonight as I too have an 'after dinner' issue. All resolve goes out the window with just a drop of alcohol so that too must be avoided like the plague!!
-
For me I think this is key - keep logging no matter what stage I get to.
-
Sorry, no plan here but I am interested to see what else is put here. I'm down from 213 to 180 since September 2012, and have 160ish in mind. I've been rubbish with consistency over the last few weeks - hence not losing anything during that time. At least its not gone up. My main problem is that I have not yet managed to…

I use Aeorbics - High Intensity (but that's because I give it LOADS!)
-
Me too - busy life, 36 and would like to lose another 20lbs or so. Anyone on this thread can add me, I log everyday and am supportive but honest!

Hi, I'm new to lifting (similar to you, I'm trying compliment lots of running) and found this dumbell only programme. So far I'm on week 2 - I've had to modify the pull ups as I haven't got the faciliies for that, but otherwise its pretty good for a beginner like me. Take a look and see what you think!…

I could do with more buddies, I've only recently discovered the benefits - you can add me too! Oh and I love cheese too mmmmmmmmm
-
Dates - yummy!
-
I'm here in Hampshire, happy to help. Feel free to add me

annie, i'm with you on the whole anxiety trip. it's really annoying, as i like swimming when i don't think about it but then every so often you see something that brings it all back again.... ewwww just give it some time to fade from your mind. do something else instead for a bit, then get back to it

This happened to me to, I couldn't believe it. All of a suddan it seemed all my work shoes kept slipping off. Others are less noticable cos they are mainly boots and trainers. Just another sign of progress!

Mine was slow but got there ok!

Tough times Tubbs, my thoughts are with you and the missus. My summary: Started at 213lbs, which is over 15 stone - crikey! Lost 25 lbs through food control and exercise Now 188lbs, just under 13 and a half stone, and this afternoon I ran 7 miles along Portsmouth seafront (in a gale - well it felt like it to me!) Very…

Down 2lbs this week - 188lbs, brilliant!! I seem to have passed some weird "magic" number as I've had so many comments this last week, some of them in the middle of important meetings?!? This is spurring me on and lifting my confidence no end. Well done, one more week to go folks
-
Still at 190lbs!!

Wow, our thread is like a list of every weight-loss issue that can hit you... and here's mine... Since last week I've upped my calorie goal cos I figured that 1200 was way too low, and now I have the nail-biting wait to find out if it has ruined my progress. As of this morning I was 1lb up, which is neither here nor there…
-
Full of respect for your scary goal I'd be interested to see your training regime and progress - keep us up to date! One day it might be me

Monumentous news - ever so sorry to hear that. I trust you and all loved ones are ok? This is all a bit silly compared to "real" life, but I like the sound of these challenges and will await further news!

Personally, I wouldn't. In the past I've paid WW for the privilege of watching me step on some scales, but then I read an article somewhere which said why bother with changing calories into points then working out how much you have had, just use calories. That's why I'm on MFP. I must have saved a fortune... How about…
