Great words! But the title is a little misleading. Gaining weight CAN be down to hormonal imbalances/deficiencies. However... Those are few and far between. And a lot of the time people hide behind psychological crutches "I can't do this because i've got something wrong with me". The "something wrong" is not wanting to…

Marvel vs Capcom 2 innit?

This. Ask any bodybuilder how they got big? They'll say eat and lift. Ask any bodybuilder how they got ripped? They cut something chronic whilst training. A lot of places will simply state 'eat clean and train and all will sort itself out' and whilst maybe in the long-term that may have some truth in it, but if you're not…

I'd probably agree. You might just need to progress things gently for a bit, give yourself chance to adapt.

This. Sometimes you will feel like you don't want to do it because a) it's raining b) it's too hot c) it's too cold d) it's the TOM e) XYZ is on TV f) You've got a cold g) You think you've pulled a muscle h) Something you've eaten doesn't agree with you completely i) It's too early j) it's too late k) You don't want people…

My first tip to you would be to eat your calorie goal. If you're feeling like you're 'crashing' then you are likely to slip into bad habits. Also... There's a lot of sugar in your diet. Sugar is terrible for blood sugar levels, causing them to go all over the place - which will give you that crashing feeling. Eat more…
-
Accept that sometimes you'll eat not because you need it, but because you want it. And you understand the consequences of whatever it is you eat and you do the required activity to ensure it fits your goals. Simples  Diets fail because they're a break from the norm that you'll eventually slip back into. Doing it…

You work out, then afterward you'll more likely than not feel hungry and eat. You also get into the habit of grazing

Google go home, you're in the desert.

Yep. Just after you get to 5 reps hahaha! But once you can develop that endurance and power... Not only will you look bigger but you'll actually feel much stronger than if you just did a basic bulk which will predominantly make you heavier and less powerful.
-
Deadlift is by far the biggest mass builder out there. Whoops squat completely for muscle groups engaged. My personal preference when bulking isn't to go for strength programs for long durations (which will give you your desired effect, but won't be as fast) - instead going for a split of strength, hypertrophy, and power…

Because injuries in my sporting life have resulted in me gaining far too much weight. Got spinal surgery out of the way so it's back on it in a big way.
