I ate naked glory sausages on Sunday on Burgen bread with a little ketchup... Indistinguishable from a normal sausage sandwich. 😂

Why is Kerberos such a pain in the backside to get working with Linux?

@mbaker566 - how's it going for you? I keep running the same ~4km route every day - I don't feel like i'm getting any faster so far hahaha!

36, with the sense of humour of a 16 year old. Meh, I can live with that. Back on the standard goal of "be a better me". Seems to be working so far hahaha
-
Oddly enough... ...Have you tried just doing something like Veganuary? I decided to give it a whirl after Christmas and eating all of the turkey and pigs in blankets in the world... And since then I can honestly say i've not missed meat at all and some days i'm actually having to force myself to eat more stuff. Might help…

I had a similar thing... ...Who knew that losing a few lbs would result in no longer snoring? :open_mouth:

It's not dead, just people don't often post here. Easy way to fix that? Post here.

Judging happens everywhere, whether we intend to or not. I guess the difference is whether we not only judge, but generalise and make snap judgements on people based on criteria - And that often leads to discrimination really. There's loads of ways we can judge each other - hell, even recognising that someone spells…

Hey, i'm in dat Sheffield - been here and then away a while and then here again hahaha - more than welcome to come talk
-
Course, I wasn't saying you were - i'm just pointing out that categorisation of people is a construct made up to make it easier to generalise and judge - I know you were just helping answer the question

Don't pigeonhole yourselves. Everyone has different personality traits - people like to put "types" to them because it's their way of rationalising the world to suit their way of thinking (and often make learning about people less effort because they're lazy). Take time to understand each other

Was here back in 2015, lost 20kg then put it all back on over the course of 4yrs working on other parts of myself (and others!) ...Now i'm back on the horse. Currently doing RED January, and Veganuary as i'd noticed that when eating meat I just couldn't avoid eating unhealthy options (cheeseburgers were my vice of choice…

That is fantastic progress! Well done!

Having other people in the office ask me what my "left overs" are then mention that it smells and looks awesome to the point they want to try some... ...And it's super healthy hahaha!
-
8 days in... Everyone gets slower and slower in the first week, right? Hahaha! :open_mouth:

This.

RUNNING EVERY DAY IN JANUARY WAS A BAD CHOICE

Here's one. With the recent report of the guy that had a bone marrow stem cell transplant and as a result every cell in his body is now not his original DNA... But his personality and appearance haven't changed... Does that now settle the debate on nature vs. nurture once and for all?…

But I have seen literally a map in Sheffield train station that honestly I have no idea how anyone would know it's a Braille map. Things like that amaze me lol!
-
Braille signs - How do visually impaired people know the sign is there to read it? 🤔

Just finished watching You season 2. If you like to feel a bit disturbed... "Don't f**k with cats" is brilliant and disturbing at the same time...

I can easily tune out running to infected mushroom... Release Me is awesome.

Ignore the scale. Work on strength. Think of it like this... Your body gets more efficient at lifting X weight. It adapts. It adapts by improving motor neuron control to fire a greater proportion of your muscle fibres. But eventually... That motor adaptation has to stop - and the only way strength keeps going up is if NEW…

Try strawberry? It's one of the easiest flavours to get right past chocolate. Or banana. Both strong flavours that are easy to get.

When I "need" protein powder... I usually pick: https://reflex-nutrition.com/shop/muscle-strength/one-stop-extreme-best-all-in-one-bodybuilding-supplement But I seldom need it. I only use it as a perk-me-up when I know i'm struggling. For every other situation: Eggs. Ignore the *kitten* about cholesterol in Eggs - the…

Went to a family BBQ and everyone commented on my losing weight, which was nice. Then they all tried getting me to eat loads, I refused, and they seemed to get it pretty sharpish!
