I'm in Backwell these days - moving in to town in the coming months. Any newbies want another local friend, feel free to add me :)

My understanding is you have two options. You can store it in juice (or I guess water with some lemon juice in it to preserve it a little) in the fridge in a sealed box and it will last for like 5 or so days after being cut. Or, put it in some juice and freeze it, that will make it last longer, but will impact the flavour…

If you have lost nearly 7 inches from all over and working out frequently I would suggest you're swapping fat mass for muscle mass. Seems to me that you'll keep doing that until you plateau at the amount of muscle you can make for your incoming calories and then your fat loss will start to register on the scale. Scales are…

Someone who I'm attracted to who says "yes" more than they say "no" to living life and doing fun things. As little drama as possible, liberal attitude to most stuff. I generally just look for someone happy who wants to enjoy life, pretty much.

A relationship is right or it is wrong. It doesn't even need to stay as one thing or the other, our paths meander, cross, merge and divide. If we are lucky we'll meet someone who has a similar path to us and who we can both want similar things at similar times in our lives. Since things change, staying to force something…

6lbs in a week. So at 3500calories per lb - that means you'd need a deficit of 21'000 calories a week. That means eating under your total burned calories per day by 3'000 calories every day. I would say that it's possible, but only for those people who are really _really_ overweight. Since to sustain a larger frame…

Depends if it's a rest day for you or not :) When did you last go and what did you do?

Ah I guess from the past tense I missed this too. Dammit. I'm in Bristol too and would have been up for this!

Dammit, wish I'd seen this earlier :)

If this is the first time you are starting exercise, I wouldn't go for something regimented and daily. Start with a few days jogging or rowing and let your body get used to it. You'll start to enjoy the endorphenes - these eventually will get you more towards enjoying exercise like some of us do :) Generally, build up to…

I can't believe it's you! That's amazing - you look totally different, and it's not just the hairstyle! Good on you

One by one. The bible was totally wrong with it's "two by two" thing. It's one by one. Good work matey :)

The simple facts are these: * You are a beautiful person * Your body is just the thing you use to transport yourself around. * Being beautiful to your BF and to yourself are the only things that matter * Wear what you want - if your BF's family choose to judge you (to your face, or not), it will simply prove how much less…

Same here - feel free to add me :) You just need to be open and honest with yourself about what you eat and not hide the gory truth from your calorie counter. Put the calories in to the counter for your treat _before_ you eat it. That way you will feel more that the treat isn't really a treat in the long run. I wish you…

I'm a bit worried that as I lose weight I'll have excess skin. Did you find that to be an issue and what can I do to mitigate the effect?

I've been fat since I was around 10. Before then I was overweight but not massively so. I was given steroids as a kid to help with a medical condition, and together with low self esteem, comfort eating and general laziness I just grew. Sure I was bullied and stuff at secondary school, but that's what kids do - pick on…

That's incredible - good work! Keep on trucking :)

Thanks for your replies :) The advantage of Oates-so-simple is how easy it is to get repeatable results. I suck at making good porridge usually :D Plus it's only 2 minutes in the microwave, which is great!

That is incredible - good on you :)

That's outstanding - good on you :)

That's great going if you just started out :) Keep up the good work!

UK here as well :) Good luck with your goals
