  • Lisa, have you ever tried turnips? I make a mock potato salad and use turnips instead. I like it. It might be worth a try!
  • The next couple of weeks are going to be crazy food wise. I have an open house tomorrow. Am supposed to go to a family cook out the 5th, another cookout on the 6th and we will probably get together on the 4th!!! Lord help me! I just completed the grocery list. Lots of fruits and veggies.
  • I keep almonds and walnuts around to snack on. Maybe with a small piece of fruit. I find that if I wait too long, then i can't stop eating, so it's better for me to have a little snack instead of trying to hold off.
  • 6/24 High...Had a nice relaxed day Low...Couldn't stop eating after dinner.
  • 6/23 High spending the day with extended family, grilling and playing in the pool. We (my sister's and I) did our own version of water aerobics! Low ate too much! and got sunburned!! But we had a lot of fun!

  • I stayed strong for the most part. I did go over calories but it was mostly healthy stuff. I did break down and have some cotton candy. I learned for next time!! And we had so much fun!

  • Tairaven Yes a drive in. I have packed stuff to take. they allow you to purchase a food permit for something like $5. I won't take popcorn because I don't like it cold.   • What a great idea!! My high for the day was spending time with my husband and daughter, just being together. My low was that I didn't get my bike ride in!!! Thanks for doing this!!

  • My Mom has passed away. Had a cook out with my sister's. My daughter made a lovely breakfast for me and surprised me with a pair of earrings. Wonderful day!!
