  • If you are studying late night, what sorta coffee can you get that will not ruin your diet? I mean, I don't want to do good all day and blow it on a latte. So far I get a latte with skim milk and add a couple of no calorie Equal. Is this a good choice. I know caffeine isn't good and all this stuff, but sometimes I need it…

  • that's exciting! keep it up! you'll get to -100 in no time with as much work as you are doing!
  • I really think that if you are craving something sweet, then eat a banana. Fruits have natural sugars and it seems from what I've studied that those natural sugars are okay. BUT, canned or packaged fruits contain added sugars, so stay away from "fruit cups." Keep eating apples and whatever fruit you want, it's okay. Don't…
  • This may not help now, but just a thought: during the summer when I lost most of my weight, many of my meals consisted of nothing but fruit. I'm in the South and so a meal would be some cantelope, watermelon, maybe some sliced onion, and a slice of cornbread. I had to go to the bathroom all the time b/c of the water. These…

  • At a regular store what is the best type of peanut butter to get. ex. JIF, Peter Pan, reduced fat, etc.
  • I actually took a week off from calorie counting. I ate out more so this site didn't have the foods that I ate listed. However, I didn't eat Big Mac's and just junk. I ate club sandwiches and wraps, etc. Sorry, I THINK I stayed within my calorie limit though.
  • Is a spoonful of pb a good snack if you aren't really hungry and really busy but need to eat?
  • I suggest skipping the entre and just skipping straight to the cheesecake...ha! I ate there for the FIRST time a few weeks ago and I'm telling you, I didn't know that cheesecake was so amazing. It's like a gift from God Almighty...and I mean that!
  • I try to drink the required 8 cups a day, but water just gets old! I think the more you drink the better. Water helps to metbolize food, so drink lots! However, if you weigh very often, and you are drinking more than the 8 cups, then you may be encouraged by the water weight loss b/c the numbers will go down, however, that…
  • So some of you may remember that the week before last I said that I was going to try something new last week. I ate about everything I wanted, but I stayed away from sweets and I only drank water. I did consume alot of chips and rotel unfortunately...a nearby deli makes the absole best! Anyway, I worked out like normal,…
  • So, I'm thinking about trying something new this week. Instead of bigtime calorie counting and all that mess, I think this week I'm going to try to eat what I want but within reason. Still no sweets and drink plenty of water, no fastfood, and etc. However, I'm not doing the whole chicken and broccoli thing either. I can't…
  • thank you very much

  • thank you, but could you maybe explain the whole serving thing to me? could you maybe use my meal that i posted as an example and tell me what i'm doing right and what i'm depriving myself of? i don't struggle with wanting sweets really so that's not my problem.

  • I joined a few days ago and just realized 30 minutes ago that there is a message bored. Unlike most of you I am a male...22 years old. I am in college and started dieting around May 1 of 07. I weighed 315 then. I now weigh in about 260, but I've been as low as 255. I took the entire holiday season off. I'm now back on my…
