I still drink. But try to avoid doing so at bars. The way I make it so I can "keep up" with whoever I am with is I just cut every drink with tons of soda water. Margaritas all around just fizzy and a little more watered. But....I still constantly have a drink in my hand and am having fun with my friends without feeling…

I would love to join in! 3500 is a big burn. Looks like I averaged about 2000 for October. This might be the thing I need! Hoping I am up for the challenge!

Feel free to add me. I have about 100 to lose. Always looking to meet some great new people.

Do you have any running experience? I am a total lump of a couch potato...so I am definitely starting with the 5k. First week kicked my butt (for 3 weeks) just now feeling confident enough in moving on to week 2

Good Luck Zoe!!! I am getting ready to start week 2
-
Hope everyone is having a great day 2 of the challenge! Good luck for the rest of the week!

I use the water aerobics, water calisthenics for my "playtime" in the pool with my 3 year granddaughter. We never stop moving. I run in place or run through the water chasing after her nonstop. I need to get a HRM so I can see if it is accurate.

Good luck everyone! Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Hi Andy! Audible is great idea! I hadn't thought of that. That is kinda the reason I was going with Zombies, Run! 5k app. I get a bit of the story but can still have music when I am working out. I will have to download a book to listen to and see if it will keep me motivated! This is me on fitbit:…

Thanks Snazzyjazzy! It really has made a difference in accountability for me. If I go over on my day I have to admit it to the world!
-
I haven't used the Nike app. I went with the Runkeeper since it did integrate with fitbit and mfp. I will check it out though!

Hi! I started a new blog for this go around. Zombie 2 Human http://zombie2human.blogspot.com/ Going to check out both of yours!

I downloaded this app last night. I am going to hopefully be using it to get my butt off of the couch and at least out walking/jogging faster and eventually maybe even able to move up to regular ZR! I need something like this. I was the kid in high school that ran around the corner on our 1.1 mile run...sat and smoked and…

I have had the same thing happen. Down down down and then up then back down again. Don't lose faith. Also I have heard (and experienced) that when you first start working out your muscles retain water to help with mending. I know there is more technical info about that but that was the gist of the information...once your…

Add me in! I a 5'2 and currently at 218. Loong way to go!!! But know I (and all of us) can do it!

Thanks for all of the support everyone! All you hear is breakfast is the most important meal, you have to eat breakfast and on and on... and every morning I look at it in front of me and just feel sick. My mother finally gave up trying to force feed it to me when I was around 10 or so...so 30 years of no breakfast is hard…

That is AWESOME! Congrats!!!!

Kelcey it seems we have about the same amount to lose! 23 days using this just about religiously and I am down my first 10 lbs! Feeling good and soon to start looking better! I agree with the previous responder about not looking at it as dieting. I am trying hard to just be healthier, shed the weight and move more and…

HI! Just started posting today as well. My workouts are minimal but having success so far! Welcome and looking forward to getting to know you!
-
Just starting. Haven't had the guts to post a pic yet...Seeing everyones success is a great motivator! 5'1 (2 on a big hair day) and started at 230. Just met my first 10lb loss goal!
-
Because this is the longest and best I have ever done with any sort of health program. Actually seeing results and loving how I feel! Not going to give up now!
-
Everyone feel free to add me as well! 40, 5'2 (on a big hair day...more like 5'1 and some change) and started at 230. Goal is 110 (what I was pre children) but I will be happy to get to between 120-125. A long way to go! I would love to have people who are moving along the same path that I am as new friends! Jess

I am also a single mom. 3 kids ages 20,19, and 16. When they were toddlers I used to say the same thing... I don't have time...before I knew it 20 years had gone by and the lbs packed on even more. Now I have a grandchild who is 2 and I can't run around with her. The time I do have is spent moving however I can. LOTS of…

Thanks for the recommendation! I will check it out over the weekend. Sounds like just the right thing!
-
I would love to be added in a group of dedicated people! The more support received/given the better. I am on every day and have been for the past month! I plan on continuing that indefinitely! Jessica
