I'm 3/4 through Insanity. I've thought about doing p90x after. Don't be scared. Your body can do anything you put your mind too. Just take it slow and focus on progress. Feel free to add me!

Note that while pregnant I was at 200 lbs....Here i'm at 145lbs. working through insanity right now. Not much weight loss from insanity but many inches lost.

thanks. I constantly hear of people dropping like 10 pounds in their first month of insanity; so it's frustrating to loose three. Although by calculations it does make sense. 500cal/dayX6=3000, and 3600 cals per pound. So technically I should only loose about 3.5 pounds in the first month which isn't much at all. That…

Your best bet is to get a heart rate monitor to track how many calories you burn, as yours will be different than others. i can't go by a hR monitor because i'm on medication that lowers my heart rate; so i looked online for people who were about the same height and weight as me(5'5-145lbs). i found it to range mostly…

Every prof i've ever had in my four years of biochemistry has insisted that cleanses are BAD. Your body has the mechanisms to clear what's not meant to be. There's no point in trying to explain it to people. Biochem is a whole different language......And i'm too lazy to argue with people :D

How on earth can you eat only 1400 cals while on insanity!!! I'm at 1800 at least now...I started at about 1400 and was way too hungry. I can feel myself burning calories for at least 24 hours after. Even by the equation, it says that I should be eating 1900 (giving me an overal deficit of like 500/day). (5'5,145lbs,27yrs)

Yes! I'm definitely easing in to insanity. Although, my daughter has become some what of an insanity nazi....telling me that my form is off, or i'm not going fast enough.....kids :)

hey, i'm 27 with high blood pressure! I'm fairly fit at 5'6 and 145 lbs; so i guess sometimes it's just bad genetics! That being said, i'd like to get down to 130 to see if that helps my blood pressure at all. Doing Insanity.
