i'll have to call the doc and ask about HDL. I remember her mentioning it, but after she mentioned it she said and your "bad cholesterol is", so I forgot the good!! lol Gale..you sound knowledgeable. how bad was 11.1? was I at risk?
-
honestly I forget what that was. I guess I was too worried about the other numbers.
-
If HDL is the "bad" cholesterol, that's the one that went from 139 to 85.

breakfast - eggbeaters lunch - turkey burger and veggies dinner - normal dinner but smaller portions Pack your lunches for the week.
-
Breakfast is eggbeaters and a splash of cheese. Lunch is typically a turkey burger (no bun) or a turkey filet from Schwan's and a side of broccoli or another low carb vegetable. For dinner, it's whatever the family is having minus the starch and smaller portions than before. At the gym, I get 5-6 days per week and I'm…

Thanks all!

avg resting heart rate in late January was 78...last three days it's been 58.
-
agreed...
-
I have eggbeaters several days a week. very low in calories.

my doctor recommended the Aria. My BF fluctuates and doesn't seem to be consistent with my weight loss. ie it goes up and down even though my weight has been dropping. all in all I like the scale
-
please add me as well. started at 278 at my appointment in January. Doc wants me down to 210!!! at 262 now.
-
great group guys. 47 here and doing pretty well so far. at 262.9 this morning from 278 on January 1. keep pushing...

egg beaters with a splash of cheese

yes it most certainly effects my mood. I know it shouldn't but I feel like I'm working very hard and it frustrates me big time to see the scale go the wrong direction, even if it's only for a day or two.
-
I have the HR and I'm very happy with it. I really like that it tells me my resting heart rate and I can see it going down as my cardio improves.
-
just back on here after a few years...

thanks JennyK. request sent!!

ok...i'm intrigued.

I like the Interval X Plus cardio workout and I use the Kenpo X Plus cardio. (since my p90x Kenpo skips) As far as the upper plus and total body, I was a little disappointed. I'd rather do the p90x strength DVD's.

Logging every morsel doesn't lose weight. Burning more than you put in does....

It's about person accountability. It's your choice what you order not Bob Evan'. By the way, they are a "for profit" organization. Good for them!!!

10-12 pushups is a good start!! Think about the number of sets you're doing. 10-12 regular, 10-12 military, 10-12 wide, 10-12 diamond, 10-12 incline, 10-12 dive bombers AND you're doing all of this twice!!! SO at a minimum you're doing 120 pushups!!! Still a pretty good checst pump... As far as pull-ups, I have an issue…

When I do a p90 workout, I enter it as circuit training. I know I'm a sweaty mess when I'm done with a P90 chest/back workout, so I burned a good number of calories.

I like the p90x DVDs. Even if I'm not focused on doing the full 90 days, I'll do the cardio DVDs 4-5 days a week. Kenpo, plyometrics, and CardioX gives you a nice assortment of workouts.
