Hi, my name is Lucy and I live in TN. I was originally diagnosed with T2 in 2009, joined MFP then but quickly gave up. I never really took my health that seriously, but last year I decided to really try to do better. This time last year my a1c was 9.3 then after 3 months of working at it it was 7.2. I am due to go back for…

Can't say that I was super active before but I had joined this in 2009? and have checked in a few times since. Back in 2009 I was 42 lbs. heavier. I need to lose at least 50 more and get my blood sugar a1c down so here I go again. Day one for me too.

Hi everyone, I haven't posted lately and I am having a hard time reading all the posts but I love reading them all. It makes me realize I am not alone. I had a pretty good week and if I can believe my scale I lost 6 pounds. Time will tell. I didn't walk today but I did carry five wheelbarrows full of wood and stacked it in…

Hi everyone, I am tired. Got home from work about 2 hours ago and have got dishes done and supper cooked and just want to rest. Could walk this morning for exercise so guess after I eat I am going to try to get on my exercise bike to ride. It'll probably be easier on my feet. I am afraid I may have a bone spur on my left…

I've got an Omron too. I think it is very good. I have tried some of the cheaper ones $5 to $15 and never could get consistant results. Mine Omron cost a little over $50 but mine will store up to a month and is downloadable to my pc. I like that so I can keep better track of what I am doing. You can wear it on your waist,…

Hi everyone. I would like to join your group and get my weight loss re-started. I lost 30 pounds from end of August to Thanksgiving but since then have almost gained 10 pounds back! I had quit walking and watching what I eat, so I know what I did wrong and I am ready to get back on track. My goals are going to be small but…

Hi, I'm Lucy, 50 and definitely not new to dieting. I am restarting again! I had lost 30lbs. last year but have been gaining, as my ticker shows. I am going to start logging in my food daily and I started walking again today. 30 minutes, not fast but steady. Hopefully between this site and my pedometer I'll get the…

OK, my weight went down from last week but still not where I was when I started, but at least I'm headed the right way now. Current weight - 212.2 lbs. Water - 5/7 Cardio 2/7 Hopefully the counting calories will get me going. I need to do it but am not real consistant, so the challenge is on! Thanks.

OK, I put off the truth long enough. I actually gained a lot. My week 2 weigh in is 215.0. I am thoroughly embarresed and ashamed (and I can't spell either) :embarassed: :frown: I am so proud of how everyone else has done. I'll probably never be the biggest loser in the group but I'll keep trying. Thanks CC for everything.…

Ok, looks like I might be first. I weighed this morning and my starting weight is 211.6 pounds. You also said to let you know if our name is spelled wrong. You left the "i" out of juicyplum - but no big deal to me. Good luck everyone!

I'd like to join in even though I never get to watch the show.
