I mentioned in another post earlier, for instant relief, Milk of Magnesia works wonders. Try some unflavored Benefiber (the Wal-mart Equate brand is cheaper and tasteless) you can put it in anything and not taste it. Good luck!

My gym gives out free pizza on the first Monday of every month. I pass on it, but it's a big hit with everyone.

I would recommend the tasteless Benefiber.. Wal-mart has an Equate version that costs way less and is totally tasteless, you can put it in anything. As for being stopped up, try a serving of Milk of Magnesia, it'll get you moving lickety split!

Sounds like my boyfriend. Last night I made eggplant lasagna and he barely even TRIED it. He's so thick headed. Oh well, he's not going to stand in the way of my good health, he can cook for himself for all I care. :D

Good for you! You just have to resist the urge.. I quit 6 years ago and still crave them, only the cravings are easier to resist. You can do it, and your body will be much happier for it!

I take a book and go about 85-90 RPM at level 6 for 45-50 mins on the recumbent bike (unless I'm really into my book, then I keep going til I feel like stopping). Burns around 350-400 calories. I love to read and it distracts me and keeps me from staring at the clock the entire time, and before I know it my time is up.

I had GBS (gastric bypass surgery) last year and have lost 118 lbs to date, a little under a year later. LisaMarie - VERY WELL SAID! I couldn't have said it better myself. Get out your rubber gloves! lol Ewwwww! I have 3 cats and that's never happened, and I hope it never does! I do have one who gets his anal glands clogged up and his butt starts to smell so bad. I have to squeeze them for him to expel it.. talk about gag city! Can you tell we love our animals? lol

Due to arthritis in my lower back along with a hamstring injury I've been spending a lot of time on a recumbent bike. It keeps my heart rate up and I can do it for an hour with a book and I feel great after. :) Sweaty, but great.

Great article! I shared with my support groups. People need to remember this and not flip out with every little fluctuation of the scale. If you follow the program the weight will come off. Krista
