It only counts if you swallow.

Google Maps has a link you can select that shows all of the trails, bike lanes and bicycle friendly roads in your area. I recommend you study it carefully and select routes that keep you safe. I am sure you can find some great trails to ride along. That's a far better option than dodging texting adults, sniffing dogs and…

That comment on sleeping being exercise is so funny. Now I've figured out why I don't sleep well....'cause it's exercise. That explains it all.

Every weekend I try to do an awesome exercise routine For me, it is usually a nice long 3 hour bike ride. After that, I can do what I like food and beer wise!!

What an amazing story....well done. I wouldn't worry too much about your picture-posting skills, bask in the glory of your health-management skills instead!!

Last year on both Christmas morning, and Thanksgiving morning, I went for a mega-burn exercise session (cycling in my case) before tucking into huge lunches. I still went way over on calories, but felt great - a heady combination of exercise endorphins and lots of wine. The rest of the "season" I enjoyed the treats that…

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy.

Nothing to report here. If anything, it's been the other way around. I think my digestive system is in much better shape now than when I was really putting it to the test!!

The article is nonsense, as is the use of the word Responsible in the title of the organization that promoted it. Read the language - it is very vague. Individual studies that suggest the links mentioned in the article are heavily outweighed by the thousands of counter studies that confirm the health benefits of dairy.…

I use a Garmin Forerunner 610. It is great for GPS tracking and mapping long runs and bike rides, as well as an excellent HRM.

It is OK, as long as you log it. Stumbled upon this piece of information from the BBC yesterday: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-20874204

I had a translator once called January - not so uncommon in China. She revealed that she was a twin. Stupidly, I asked what her sister's name is. "February, of course" was the reply.

Stick to the milk - nature's perfect food.

5.3 is awesome. I know how hard you've been working at this, so it's great you are getting the payoff. Keep it up man!!

I think you should take her encouragement and enjoy it for what it is...encouragement. I read a post the other day from someone whose neighbors yelled abuse at her every time she ran. You are getting the better deal by a long shot. Take it and enjoy it.

What a great, educational post. Thanks!

Got it, love it. I won't judge those who decide to use other devices, just as they should not judge me.

Heck yeah, just make it count. Use the time wisely.

Way to go. I hope you enjoyed it.

Hard work pays off!!
