Push through it. Your body should adjust to the new dosage in a few days. At least try to do 20 minutes of working out, then if you are still feeling too fatigued to continue, at least you got a short workout in :)

I haven't done slimfast. It works for some, but my trainer told me that stuff really isn't that good for you. You could try protein shakes like Myoplex Carb Control to replace some meals instead. I drink 2-3 shakes a day and do 2-3 healthy small meals a day. Just a thought! Good luck in whatever you do!

You could also get a heart rate monitor, which would tell you how many calories you burn during each workout. Then just create your own custom exercise for P90X.

Unfortunately, there is not way to spot reduce fat. So just eat a healthy diet, and do high intensity cardio to lose fat. Everyone is different, it comes off different places of the body on different people.

I love my Garmin Forwrunner 305, it has a HRM. It's pretty cheap now since they came out with the 405.

Don't worry about bulking up- you won't. In order to get leaned and toned, you need to lift heavy weights, do 10-12 reps with the last 3 reps being very difficult. It you just lift light weights for more reps you won't see many results.

Try coolrunning.com the couch to 5k program. All my life I hated running until I did this and loved it. Did a half marathon. Running is the best and one of the cheapest form of exercise. You could also buy fitness DVDs but running will burn more calories.

I have the Polar F4 and it is plenty for me. I think any of the nicer models would be too advanced and have features I wouldn't use. I just want my calories burned. =)

With P90X you are going to gain muscle, so you won't see as much weight loss. So be sure to track progress by measurements and how your clothes fit. I am doing P90X as well and love it!
