Gym and HRM

I joined a gym last night, and used the treadmill, bike and some resistance weights. I only ran my HRM while on the treadmill and bike. Should I be leaving it running while I am on the weights or no?

I do, especially if my heart rate is already spiked. I am definitely exerting more energy than I would if I was at home. I just make sure to subtract the calories that are my resting heart rate (it's about 100 calories per hour) from my final exercise total.0
