Yes, I have had a bucket list for years...actually before I knew it had an official name. I have it in a small little notebook that I carry in purse and have it with me always. It is a list of all sorts or things...daring, crazy, silly, standard goals, out of the box stuff, etc. Any time something inspires me, I add it to…

I put weight plates under my toes and it forces me to put my weight on my heels. I'm not sure if that is a healthy fix but my CrossFit coach suggested it and it seems to be working for me. I haven't been able to fully correct the issue without the assistance but I am more consistent now when I don't use them.

You are in a great place to hit the ground running! There are great people out here for support and encouragement. It sounds like you have a great support system with your new man too. Do this for you and only you! That's the first rule. Second, this journey is NOT a diet. Consider it a lifestyle change. Don't expect…

I was a hardcord Diet Coke drinker...8-10 cans per day! I initially started kicking the habit by drinking one can then one bottle of water. I didn't allow myself the next can until the water was gone. I then did one can and two bottles of water in between, etc. I haven't had a Diet Coke since 4/25/2012. I cut caffeine…

Glad to hear such a success story! I am only on week 2 of the C25K. I am doing okay but can't imagine those higher numbers. Great to know that it can be done even though it is scary as heck!

You are killing it!!! Way to go! I love your motivation! It is contagious!!

Love your positive attitude! Looks like you've jumped in with both feet. Amazing how good it feels, huh! Having friends with similar goals makes it a little easier because you relate to people who actually "get it". Keep it up! You're doing Awesome!

New to the group but happy to be here. I lost about 33 pounds before I found MFP but I have a LONG way to go. I am almost 2 years post divorce, relocated to TX in February, new job, and time for my new life. SW: 232.5 (pre MFP...does that count?) CW: 198.6 (first weigh-in for this group) Good luck everyone!
