How much weight do you have to lose ? - another 10kgs How fast are you trying to lose it ? - Aiming for what they say is "healthy" 0.5kgs / week - so that would take me through to end of July. Although I'd like it by end of May - just not letting myself get disillusioned if it doesn't happen that fast. How fast are you…

Brush your teeth? I'm always way more tempted to eat at night - haven't really found anything that helps except brushing my teeth I guess.
-
Log it - feel guilty - and try to remember this feeling next time you want to eat it!! I am the same - chocolate is my "stress food" and so I work on getting less stressed by things, as I know I have no self control once I feel stressed out (although given the situation I'd be pretty stressed too!!)
-
I gained 8kgs :( hence why I need to lose! (Although I did travel for 8 weeks)
-
If I go on lunch from work or after work - I have make up on - and then sweat it off I guess. If I go straight from home I don't put make up on at all

Where do you get blisters? I get them on the arches of my feet (more from outdoor running - but that's because treadmills scare me) - even after getting shoes fitted for flattish arches etc. In Australia I used to use Glide (an anti chaffing stick - that I'd put on before my socks) in the UK (because it was easier to find)…

Completing it is pretty exciting and a big deal so do your best and don't worry about coming last! 1. Practice your transitions if you can!! 2. Not knowing what type of shoes you wear.. - Have your shoe laces undone ready to go (I couldn't have my shoes already attached to my pedals like some people) - I think socks aren't…

Maybe set a challenge as a goal? Eg. Run a 10km event, or a half marathon, or a triathlon or something?
-
Me too!! Just logged on here as I was really feeling like a chocolate bar (I know I'm not hungry) and reminds me of why I'm doing this!

You really should go see a physio - they should be able to tell you what is wrong (if you've pulled something or over worked it) and then hopefully they can give you some exercises that you can still do? Also maybe swimming as there is hardly any impact?
-
I am exactly the same!! :( it's very frustrating!! It's been almost 4 weeks of low calories and upping my exercise - and the scales aren't moving. Which makes it hard to stay motivated. Need to just stick to my tape measure and ignore the scales!

I just bought 30 day shred - but I'm going on holidays from Saturday until the following Sunday so going to start it after that!! Really excited about it!

I'm obsessed with the Elliptical - I love the calories it burns I guess. When I go to the gym with my friend we normally do the following (which I think could be done at home) 10minute warm up Then two sets of the following - 24 x bicycle crunches - 12 x push ups (even if you do them on your knees) - 12 x squats with…

I prefer the elliptical - I stop on a treadmill when I find it's "too hard" whereas I don't on the elliptical (plus I'm not scared about falling off the end)

Nope I have lost no inches either (I've been measuring weekly) I told him last week that I'm feeling incredibly unmotivated or excited about our sessions. So I'm crossing my fingers tonight is more interesting.
-
I think after the next 3 sessions I will stop seeing him. He does keep notes and makes comments etc - and what we're doing each week is written down before I get there but then he will be like "ok I think we've done this before" (yes we have - last week, aren't you referring back to that?) But yes I didn't think that I…

*Bump This is me too - I am addicted to a chocolate bar after my lunch - or an hour later :(

Ok - lets give this a go!! Today's weight 75.4. Really bad at logging on on the weekends - plus I agree I'm always hungry. During the week I've been really good/strict- I gym or exercise at least once most days - keep my calories under control. Then weekends, I tend to party / drink and eat badly when I'm hung over. Which…

These are perfect thank you!!!

I definitely agree best idea is to go to a store that tests your run!! I think mine cost me around £85. but I feel like I'm running on little clouds on my feet!! (Also was told certain brands I shouldn't use due to their arch support / my relatively flat arches)
-
Cool thanks - think I will have enough room - although I am upstairs. But figure as long as I get home from work early enough, the guy who's bedroom is underneath mine won't notice haha

Hi - I'm keen. Not too sure if it's possible for me with in that time frame. but looking at your profile you're a similar starting weight to me - and similar end goal. (my sister is getting married in January - so ideally want to be back to thin by then) - Oh also I've set myself a "short term goal" per my footer - so that…

Random question - how much space do you need to do this? I just ordered it online - but I live in share accomodation - and don't necessarily want to be doing it in the living room (/don't want my housemates to know I'm doing it). So was wondering if it is possible to do in my bedroom? (I have enough floor space for push…

Just an update - I finally booked in to see the doctor - she's not concerned about my exercise heart rate (and says it's probably that I'm working harder than I was say 3 months ago - so while I'm getting fitter my heart rate is staying the same)- and was happy with my resting heart rate and blood pressure (I don't think…
