  • 6 lbs? is that what my profile says? Not trying to be a smartass but I actually don't want to lose any weight.. that's besides the point though. • thanks for all the input. I decided to try paleo for a while because i found out i have insulin resistance which is strange since I've never had an issue with weight and have generally ate healthy and have been active my whole life. but i noticed when i took grains, starches and fruit except for raspberries out of my diet,…
  • thanks! i'm not a calorie counter and I find myself actually trying to eat more so I don't lose weight but I could easily put away 2 lbs of fish in a day and feel like that may be too much?
  • I just started like a week ago! I've always ate healthy whole foods/ dairy and gluten free, but I think I may have some form of insulin resistance cause anytime i ate any type of food with sugar (fruit, even quinoa) I would feel so tired and just blahhh. So i cut out all grains and fruit except for raspberries and holy…

  • I am no expert and I completely get that PCOS has it's own difficult obstacles to overcome, and i'm not trying to discredit how hard it can be for a lot of people with PCOS to lose weight. With that being said, I personally believe that what we put in our bodies has the power to either negativley effect us and cause…
  • i actually read an article about how sitting for the majority of your day can decrease your lifespan. yikes! even if you workout and squat your little heart out in the bathroom. i'd like to think that'll give me an extra year :p
  • its about 10ish miles. not very far but the rd i have to take is crazy busy and i have to jump on the highway for a few exits. is it illegal to ride a bicycle on the highway? hmmm. (in the breakdown lane of course) ;)

  • i'm not sure how much you already know so if i tell you something that is obvious to you just ignore it and hopefully something i have to say will help! breakfast can be tricky for some people, however, eating a solid breakfast with a good amount of protein (eggs, plain greek yogurt with some fruit, old fashioned oatmeal…
  • I don't have PCOS, however, i like to think that i know a decent amount about nutrition and i've some across articles on PCOS in the past. can i first just ask what your typical day to day diet/ exercise routine looks like?
  • desk treadmills would be great!

  • i share a tiiiiiiny office with someone who is anti-working out, pro-candy so i'm sure i'd get some looks if i did squats and different routines at my desk but oh well.. i think i'm gonna bust a few out right now! i'll letcha know what she says;)
  • having a desk job is a pretty motivating factor for me. but i know it can be hard when you have other responsibilities and what not. i find that it helps to get up 30-45 min early and do a pilates or yoga workout before work. getting up early def sucks, especially in the winter but you kind of need to ask yourself what you…
