I think when working out your blood flows where you need it (in your muscles).

I also have this problem and doing different variations of squats and lunges has lift things up for me

My trick is to not over think the whole thing and to just incorporate it in my daily life. My healthy meals are prepared in advance in individual containers I freeze, I stock the fridge with fruits, vegetables and other prepared foods so it is easier for me to just eat what is already there. I allow for small rewards every…

I love bananas and eat them too but not as often as I also think they are high in calories. I now go for strawberries, kiwis and other fruits that are lower on calories.
-
My trainer suggested I eat a banana after a workout - she stressed right after and even at your locker! I thought it was to replace the potassium and other minerals lost by sweating but I didn't know you can also loose lean body mass :-\ My boyfriend has after work-out protein shakes so I guess he knew something I didn't…

It is so very true!!! for me the realization came when I told my sister (at the beginning) that I was loosing one pound a week. She said: "Take a pound of butter in your hand and look at it and feel its weight.... that is what you are loosing every week!!! " I was shocked, especially I can put 28 of those pound of butter…

At the beginning, when I was on the 1200 calories, I didn't eat them back which meant that my ''net'' caloric intake was way way too low on work out days and after a while I started to feel week. So I started eating more on work out days only but not ''all'' of them and only if I was still hungry or ''in need'' of a little…

Only some arthrosis in the neck and stomach activities both related to stress at work. Beside that, I was great until 48 when I had the auto-immune >evil< inflammatory disease. I became happier and it went away, shows you how stress and emotions are directly related to your body. Good luck :-)

You can hire a trainer once a month to do an evaluation and built a program for you and show you how to do the exercises. It would cost between $50 to $65 for one hour. You don't need to be with the trainer every time you go to the gym. I hired one because I knew I needed to do exercises but didn't know what to do. She…

There is just so much anyone can do in a week, it is also important to find time to rest and relax to refill our energy and avoid burning out. I would suggest that until you have more time to actually schedule workouts to do what you can in terms of physical activities; use the stairs, get off the bus one stop before or…

Routine is my trick. I have work outs scheduled and I stick to them doesn't matter what . I have my meals planned and prepared ahead all in individual freezer containers (only good food; taste + body good and I eat plenty of it). I don't think about this whole thing much, I just go through my daily routine and every week,…
