My favorite breakfast is a Kashi honey almond flax bar and low fat string cheese stick. It keeps me going for a few hours then I have a low fat yogurt as a mid-morning snack. However, I eat this all the time and need variety too.

Eating a high salt diet can raise your blood pressure. It's beneficial to maintain a lower sodium diet and take your antihypertensive medication. I don't cut out any foods, however I may eat a smaller portion of a high calorie/carb food.

I'm 5'5.5" and I aim for about 1430 calories a day without exercise more with exercise. Most of the time I find myself eating around 1200-1300 calories though. About once a week I eat about 2000 calories when I go out with my friends.

I'm in the same position and hope to hear some ideas. My workout is mainly cardio, I'm hoping that adding some strength training and changing some of my snacks to fruits and veggies will help. Possibly try adding more cardio into your workout.
