Lovely cinabons(?).

You're eating too much. Eat less.

I weigh myself about 3 times a day. I find it interesting.

Peanut butter and olive oil.

Oh please. Diet cokes are perfectly fine within moderation, just like everything. Having a can a day isn't going to kill you. If you want to eat clean, good for you. However, I'm going to stick to my calories and my macronutrient split, and if I can fit a McDonalds into that once in a while, you better believe I'm going…

Do this: https://www.iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ This should give you a rough guide on what your calories should be per day. Keep your protein relatively high ~40% of your calories, 20% fats and the rest carbs. If you find your weight loss starts to stall then drop your calories and reduce the amount of carbs you eat.

Fat loss = caloric deficit.
-
Eat more.
-
Water weight. If your weight isn't going down after a couple of weeks then your eating more than you think.
-
More people should remember this.
-
You're doing it wrong.
-
Depends how HAM you went.

Well, he was right. It's not a noun. But I think what he means is that this "tone" word is just thrown around to distract people from what they're actually doing: Losing body fat and gaining muscle.

I lift with my girl friend and it's absolutely fine for me. Don't see what the big deal is. She does the same exercises as me just at the right weight for her.

First of all, if you're serious about joining the gym and getting your fitness, ditch the term "tone". It's stupid. What you mean is you want to lose fat. In regards to a weight lifting routine, check out: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/training.html and find a plan that you like the sound of, they all come with guides…

If you are serious about starting to lift then you will need to dedicate some time to developing your muscles so they are used to squats. Once the DOMS are not as bad then you can run the day after. You will just need to train your body to get used to it.
-
After lifting for a while, you no longer feel the DOMS as bad. It's completely normal.

None. Most of the compound movements I perform give my abs a good enough workout.

They will never be 100% accurate. No piece of equipment that is readily available to you will be 100% accurate on calorie consumption.

Hi Brendan, I posted this exact same question about a month a go and I went to the doctor about this yesterday. At first I thought it could of been a hernia but turns out that it wasn't as hernia's occur lower down. However, the doctor has put me through for an Ultrasound as she believes I may of torn something by going…

That's quite a good shout.. Didn't think of that at all. :'(
-
I thought that, but I always make sure I'm drinking water regularly.
-
Within a month the doms will be significantly less.

+1. You're not a professional athlete. Why bother and waste your money?
-
Your happiness comes above everything at a time like this. Have some you time and then come back to the grind when you're ready.
-
As a recent graduate theres one thing I took from University: 1) Study Hard 2) Work out 3) Get wasted most evenings. It's the best few years of your life, don't waste it by moping around. Get yourself a decent routine during the day and then let the night take you wherever it pleases.

Start exercising.
