I have been 114lbs and 144lbs and worn the very same clothes... At 114lbs, I was asked on numerous occasions if I was okay or if I was sick... At 144lbs, I was given many compliments... I am currently 137lbs and 21.3% body fat and I have learned the scale does NOT matter. If you can wear the same size 4 jeans at 114lbs and…

I'm 5'4" and have a small frame too... When I got down to 114 lbs (still with small areas of fat that I didn't like), people started asking me if I was sick... Admittedly, I really didn't look good. I changed my focus to body recomp... The scale is obviously a worthless tool when you want to reshape your body. You can…

If I'm hungry, I workout to earn some more calories. What will usually happen is that my workout will kill my appetite for a bit and then I can eat something reasonable when it returns (usually cottage cheese and a fruit).

EXACTLY!!! It's great to be able to make minor adjustments and get positive results vs letting things get out of control and needing to do major work to correct the current path.

^^^ THIS! I started doing this a few weeks ago and it has been working out really well for me... My favorite thing about this approach is that I no longer get upset if the scale bounces up from water retention or whatever.... I just watch my trend line and know that my weight isn't really up. I think this method will be…

My reasons have always been for shallow ones... Just wanting to look and feel my best... and I'm 37 so I don't think it is necessarily the age. ;). The only time I've ever been out of a healthy weight range was after giving birth to my two girls... I don't think wanting to look and feel your best is a bad motivator.
